Windows 7 Is STILL Running Steam on 'Day Of Doom' New Year's Day 2024 - UP YOURS, CORPORATE BUMNUGGETS!

Sorry? What was that you said again?

'January 1, 2024 is the day of doom for Steam on the old Windows versions. "After that date, the Steam Client will no longer run on those versions of Windows. In order to continue running Steam and any games or other products purchased through Steam, users will need to update to a more recent version of Windows."'

Wrong you slobbering corporate bumnuggets, wrong, wrong, wrong!

Your humble narrator has just gone through a merry afternoon playing all the games in their Steam library, on a Windows 7 machine, without a single hitch whatsoever.

And the other half succeeded on doing so on an old Windows 9 laptop too.

So much for all their lies about not being able to run on Windows 7 anymore. (Either that, or we've discovered a simple but ingenious way of circumventing the system, ah, but that would be telling ...)
