Like I don’t care if media uses robots to deal with thematics of racism (like “I, Robot” or “Detroit: Become Human”) because it’s an easy way to talk about racial issues without having to say this is about X race and all that shit storm that would come with it.

But like in real life, in our word?

We should never get to this point, robots must never stop being glorified apliances and furniture. The moment robots become persons, the moment you create beings aware of their slave status but also aware that this shouldn’t be this way, we get into a fucking etical, legal, social and moral conundrum-bullshitfest that is detrimental to everything.

Besides normal people don’t want a super realisitc french maid cleaning their stuff, normal people whant a roomba with an AI that imitates a dog.

Past vs Future: the experience

Splatfest ended, and I’d like to say that this Splatfest was ok, for me at least. I didn’t get many underleveled teammates, but overleveled opponents still appeared and we didn’t stand a chance against those, mainly because they stacked asshole weapons and went directly to spawn camp, seriously, some Team Future people wanted to spawn camp really badly, especially in Hammerhead Bridge, placing beacons and spamming Kraken. I rarely encounter squidbaggers, I only found one in this Splatfest, and this player had the misfortune of being the only player in his team, and he was on the respawn platform throwing seekers, so everytime he splatted one of us, he squidbagged... Spawn camping often happens because one team is too overleveled and/or because at least one player gets disconnected from one team. Popularity once again backfired for Team Future, however, Team Past won by 55% of wins, that means that Team Future wasn’t slacking off at all, maybe next time Team Marie will win. I had a great time right from the start, I kept being teamed up with people around my level, then I got teamed up with a Golden Dynamo, an N-Zap 89 and an Aerospray MG, I was also an N-Zap 89, so we were crapping Inkstrikes like crazy, dominated and reached a streak of 20+ until we got disconnected. Shout-outs to Sophie, David and Hehehe..x3 , I had a great time, I bet you also did. The only thing that gave me a bad time was Nintendo and its shitty servers and shitty matchmaking. They really should pay attention to the complaints and do something. To the new players who chose Team Future, don’t be discouraged. Now you have more time to get experience, learn the stages, practise with all the weapons and discover which one is the best for you so you are prepared for the next Splatfest.
