while im in the shitting on horseshit hotel train reminder that bulletstorm came out like 13 years before the prime release of hh and had similar humor (what with the INSANELY frequent swearing and small crude sexual references, it surprisingly doesnt have a lot of outright sexual humor like handjob hotel or wtv tf) but it balanced it out so well and made it actually fucking funny by 1. being a semi satirical game 2. having other jokes inbetween this 3. in some cases having this offensive humor thats portrayed so over the top like its a fucking south park episode 4. BEING AN ACTUALLY WELL WRITTEN FUCKING GAME. like you can make vulgar media and have it be good and pretty fucking funny, that isnt the issue!! the issue is w how vivziepop did it, the whole show doesnt feel like it was made for an adult audience, it feels like it was made for 14 y/o tumblr middleschoolers, like it wouldve been right at fucking home on tumblr in like 2015.
