What fandom would you pair a Kiki's Delivery Service AU with? How?

This one is honestly stumping me, mostly because 80% of my fandoms are filled to the brim with angst and Kiki’s Delivery Service is so wholesome in comparison. I think I’m going to have to go with My Mad Fat Diary, mostly because Rae as a witch with a sassy talking kitty sidekick sounds super appealing.

What's your favorite season and why?

As a child/young adult, my favorite season was autumn. I loved the vibrant colors of the leaves and the crispness of the air that came after our very, very humid summers. I also loved going back to school - it provided structure for me and it was an area where I thrived.

Now, as an adult who lives in an area where winters are much harsher than they were in my youth, summer is definitely my favorite season. I love long days of light, gardens and farm fields growing, more days of sunshine than other times of the year, and warm temperatures. It makes me feel alive.

Yes - an adopted son. He’s grown and gone with his own family now!

I used to, but I try to be more direct now.

How loud they are. I startle easily. Like a deer.

Hazel layers

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy endings. I’m a sucker for the happy times.

I used to be able to program a VCR with my toes, but now VCRs are obsolete and I’ve broken my toes and they’re all rusty now.

BC! I’ve never lived in Canada, though.

10. Have any Hobbies?

video games, shojo manga, Batman comics, kitties, arts and crafts, getting dirty making things.

Two orange tabbies. One is a cuddle bug and the other eats tape.

I don’t sport. I like to swim, I do yoga, I’ve done belly dancing, and I like to ride my 1 speed retro bicycle sometimes.

Witcher AU Teaser

She steps in closer, drawn to him like a warm hearth in the Arctic night, even though her jaw is set in anger. But to his knowing eyes, he can see the cracks in the steel of her shoulder, in the stone of her jaw, in the ice in her eyes. She’s just as tired and worn down as he is. He leans into her cracks. Pulling in a deep breath, he can feel the line of her body pressed up against his, and she fills his senses. When he lets the breath from his lungs, he is too keyed up to stop the smoke that escapes past his lips, and he washes their features in it. 

When she emerges, her eyes glint like the moonlight on water.

Hahaha!!! This is actually the Witcher AU that @bulletproofteacup @doodleladi and myself have been working on. (BTS info: Teacup was the one to name the document)

Here’s a little snippet for your pleasure.

Toph scowls and opens her mouth, but in the usual way, Sokka is there interrupting.

"Zuko!" He cries in a voice that is suspiciously cheerful, then continues in an angry whisper, "I need you to do your job, you drunk oaf."

And sure enough, there is an angry minister on his heels, round and grizzlies and in possession of a sharp, if small, dagger. He is mid-rant, but his voice has not yet climbed high enough for the entire betrothal party to hear, "---I may not have seen the lout's face, but I would never forget the sight of that disgustingly pimpled arse."

Judging by the look on Sokka's face, he was definitely guilty of something. Zuko stands, knocking his cup over. Golden eyes that are a tad too bright take in the bard’s overeager expression.

“Sokka, what did you do?”

His companion shoots a warning expression at the still dripping overturned mug of beer. “Nothing. At least nothing to this kind gentleman.” Sokka pauses, tossing a thoughtful expression towards the huntsman. “To his wife however…”

Zuko’s fingers pinch at the bridge of his nose, avoiding the eyes of his bard and failing to avoid the sudden throbbing in his skull. The marauding minister’s increasing volume and pitch, however, is not helping Zuko’s cause.
