well well well, welcome! I’m glad to be joining this rp, and let’s welcome mr. lukas sterling to the mix. lemme just start giving you some bullet points about this man:

this boy is a legacy member of beta theta pi -- both his grandfather and his father were members of this frat, so him joining it was kind of inevitable. his dad was kind of a “legend” according to some members, as he was the star football player for belvedere university

and his mom? well, she was a dallas cowboys cheerleader in her prime, and three out of his four sisters have tried out to make the team.

lukas himself? well, he took more to the poms and the dance studio than to the pigskin, unfortunately to his father. mr. twinkle toes here has been dancing since he was 3, as the stage just calls to him

all his life had been devoted to acting, dancing and singing, until his father put his foot down and decided he at least had to try a sport by the age of 10. that’s when little lukas hit the mat “really?! cheer leading?! I meant a real sport, goddammit”.

mr. sterling just had to suck it up --- and he did. he suddenly became his biggest fan, and from that day on their relationship grows closer and closer everyday

although lukas loves the mat, he still found musical theater to be his greatest passion, and has continued to perform in every single play he could get his hands on. that’s why when it came time to choose his path in life, he went with musical theater. and with pressure from his paternal side, he chose belvedere was the place to do it.

and now, let’s go into his personality a bit

lukas is probably the brightest ray of light there is, always being one to brighten up your day and sending you cute texts for when you wake up

cross him, however, or the people he loves, and be ready for him to go to war

he isn’t a big drinker (”it’ll ruin my voice! i can’t!”), but when he does drink, watch out because he’ll make out with whoever is there (he’s gay, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t make out with a girl once or twice when drunk)

drunken stupor aside, he is the biggest romantic there is, and the type of boy you would take home to meet your parents

he’s a ride or die to the fullest, and is known to befriend people with even the worst of reputations.

so hmu if you have any connections. he’ll clearly know and probably be close with his beta theta pi bros, as well as being on the cheer team and also theater. but i want all the plots. come at me :p

he knows practically NOTHING about america, american education or culture apart from what he’s seen in movies. so he’ll be quite naive bless him

his dad was a prominent english politician who after a long career finally accomplished his dream of becoming prime minister in 2018. he was hit by a bad scandal shortly afterwards and had to resign. the media wouldn’t leave him alone and began to pick up on jasper’s bad behaviour at uni to use against victor, so victor sent jasper away to live with his uncle, and that’s why he’s in california!

he is the youngest of 5 children and only gets on with his older sister felicity, the others he doesn’t speak to as they’re a lot older and don’t approve of his lifestyle

jasper is very very clever partly due to his private education and partly because as a child he would educate himself when left alone by his parents 

he is very into english football as it gave him a common interest with more regular boys he would meet outside of school

he drinks A LOT but wouldn’t consider it an issue. but it probably is. he has been known to do drugs too and mostly just ‘goes with the flow’ at parties etc. he’s pretty impulsive

personality.

most people would describe nikolas as a campfire kind of guy - warm & comforting to be around but if you lean too close or the wind blows the wrong way you’re bound to get burned. he’s not cruel per se, but he has the habit of going straight in for the kill if he has an issue with you --- and he’s not generally the type to look for an explanation or an apology. 

in truth, nik functions more like a hurricane, those closest to him kept safe in the eye of the storm while those attempting to approach are at risk of some damage, though there’s always the chance that they’ll slip in. he lulls to a calm when surrounded by his brothers at beta theta pi, tempering cooling off enough for him to settle into his role as the life of the party. he’s a jovial drunk, but his competitive edge hides behind the dopey grin that spreads on his face as if waiting for just the right moment to strike.

backstory.

grew up in a wealthy suburb in columbia, sc as the only son of a wealthy polish investor and his italian trophy wife. knowing privilege so intimately all of his life meant that by the time that he entered high school, he already had the perfect college admission resume assembled. he spent years switching between different sports each season, with complimentary art lessons and tutoring sprinkled in. playdates ( and later on “chill sessions” ) had to be scheduled as least a week in advance if they were to last more than an hour --- and it was this kind of rigid schedule that he began to rebel against.

of course his idea of rebelling was to dig himself further into that schedule, roaming the street after curfew but leaving enough time for him to get enough sleep to function and joining three varsity teams. he left his parents’ scheduling behind and started to make one of his own, not realizing that he was still holding himself to their unstated desires despite not actually following their planned path.

lacrosse and mathematics at belvedere got him as far away from them as he could manage, and it was at his first beta theta pi party that he realized what it felt like to not feel so scrutinized. ( and good thing he did, if it weren’t for seeing him let go of a small piece of his picture-perfect image and absolutely crushing the house’s record in beer pong --- who knows where he would be now. ) 

fun facts.

plays attack for the lacrosse team and runs sprints and medium distance for the track and field team. doesn’t plan on going pro on either front, though he would have the skill to do so in lacrosse. 

actually enjoys mathematics --- is thinking about doing his masters in predictive analytics and the classes he’s taking this year focus on that field aside from a single general education credit.

BACKGROUND

Okay listen, Ed has the shadiest but most glamorous past. His mother’s an actress, his father? A weapons manufacturer company’s CEO. That part of his life he’s not proud of.

Eduardo grew up watching his father feed off war, and at first it was okay since he knew he could get whatever he wanted with the millions of cash he could swim in, but later on resented it.

He’s not an activist against violence, but he doesn’t like it either.

So growing up he was closer to his mom, she’d take him to work and he’d sit around set and watch as his mom kicked ass on screen.

Because of this exposure, directors and producers started eyeing him, and it wasn’t long before he was taking on kid roles too.

But his mom didn’t want him to be in the spotlight at such a young age. She knew he had potential, but that potential could be tapped much later on.

So he focused on school and stopped acting at the age of 12. But he knew then what he wanted to be. He didn’t want to inherit his father’s company. He wanted to be an actor like his mother.

His mother’s agency had been eyeing him since senior year in high school, and he had landed a role in a sitcom as one of the lead roles. So he’s working on that now.

PERSONALITY

Ed’s a very hard working kid. Instead of being spoiled like how his father would have raised him, he followed his mothers wishes and did things to gain things. He studies hard, gets involved with sports, was the total angel he should have been.

But he’s also got a wild side to him, one he doesn’t show much because he knows he should be building his rep before he even makes it back to Hollywood.

He has his vices, but on the outside is a total film and theater nerd. In high school, he was part of the theater club and had a hand in both acting and directing.

He’s pretty shy towards friends and even romantically. He’s has his fair share of hook ups and in the closet make out sessions, but he’s also very reserved when it comes to romance.

He bloomed in theater, had a lot of friends but kept his feet on the ground despite his rapid growing popularity.

- Originally born in Spain but moved to America when he was 11 years old to live with his grandparents. His parents decided that the move would be better for him considering his grandparent’s wealth. His grandfather (on his mother’s side) owns several larger hotel chains. - Had more of a rough upbringing. His grandparents (on his mother’s side) never approved of their marriage or relationship, meaning they were completely cut off. His father worked in construction while his mother worked as a nursing assistant. - The move to America was a culture shock considering he went from a small 2 bedroom house to a 4 story home. He’d never owned a house with a basement, and to him, that meant they had it made.  - Got into hacking/coding at the age of 11. Mostly did harmless pranks at his school such as making all of the computer printers continue running, putting Rebecca Black Friday on a Monday Morning for 1 month on every loudspeaker, and smaller things. - He attended a boarding school in New York in a STEM program. He also participated in many local coding/hacking championships. Most of his accomplishments are pretty unknown outside of the field (and he doesn’t talk about them because he knows that most people really don’t care).  - Came out officially in high school after dating his first boyfriend who cheated on him. After that, he became less likely to open up to many people outside of his fraternity/group of friends.They managed to go to the same college which he’s been doing his best to avoid him. - Joined the fraternity because he’s a legacy student. David had no choice in the college he attended

personality: 

- he comes from a very loud and social family, which he is a product of. he considers himself one of the more social people in his fraternity. people will immediately notice him in a conversation because he’s does try to be the loudest to say what he wants to say. he’s terrible about interrupting conversations without meaning to. - is very organized and freaks out when things are too messy/out of place. he’s the type to offer to iron the clothes of his fraternity brothers just so they don’t look bad for pictures. he’s known for always having a clean room. color coding his clothing. actually using an agenda (ya, i know).  - outside of that, he’s very carefree and doesn’t mind breaking the rules/stray from the path if there’s fun involved. he loves being around other people and is always the friend messaging ‘wyd’ just to hang out. - he is always himself, and doesn’t care to let others know. he tells his best friends ‘he loves them’ and kisses on the cheek even to his guy friends (something that was common in his family). he loves showing affection. he’s the boyfriend/friend to randomly buy gifts and type of person who will randomly text a friend he hadn’t spoken to in a while. - is a very honest/blunt person and usually in the form of comedy. he’s known for cracking a joke at the wrong time or not knowing when it is time to be serious. comedy is his coping mechanism. -

𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙱𝙴𝙶𝙸𝙽𝙽𝙽𝙸𝙽𝙶 : olive is the second and last born to sebastian and lucille remines. sebastian, the owner and heir of his great grandfather’s winery business and lucille, a once aspiring grade-school teacher now settled and content trophy wife. growing up in the upper east side, the remines family is very well known among the other prestigious surnames in nyc; sebastian and lucille are very gallant of their squeaky-clean reputation.

𝙶𝚁𝙾𝚆𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝚄𝙿 : at a very young age perfectionism was instilled in olive. if she did something wrong, instead of telling her it was fine and she would get better, her mother would make her do the task over until she got it right. failure was not an option within the remines family. between studies, extracurriculars, and hobbies olive was told if you weren’t first you were last. olive never dared to rebel against her parents, being deemed as their ‘golden child’. her parent’s knew she would do whatever was asked of her and with discipline. since grade school she was seen as very creative minded, constantly wanting to get her hand on anything that would express herself visually; whether it were paint, glue, pencils, or glitter. through high school she maintained a 3.98 GPA which in retrospect was arduous and stressful that she couldn’t get to the prominent 4.0.

𝟸 𝚈𝙴𝙰𝚁𝚂 𝙰𝚃 𝙱𝙴𝙻𝚅𝙴𝙳𝙴𝚁𝙴 : olive’s parent’s weren’t too thrilled that the girl had chosen belvedere or graphic design; they were hoping she’d help take over the family’s winery and at the least have some sort of major in business. however this is the only thing she has rebelled against them and stuck to. she wanted to be happy and she knew that a life living in her father’s shadow would not be one of those, she also felt her older brother would be more suitable for the job. her first year she rushed kappa chi omega with high hopes and inevitably got a bid, desperately making friends with everyone and anyone who crossed her path. she’d go to parties but never get to the point where she’d black out, was always the type to handle herself and her liquor level, even though this was the first time she wasn’t under the clutches of her parents. start of her junior year she was elected as social chair, which she takes pride in as she is a planner, she loves to organize and contrive the kappa house events.

𝙴𝚇𝚃𝚁𝙰 𝚂𝙽𝙸𝙿𝙿𝙴𝚃𝚂 : just because olive is an overachiever doesn’t mean she isn’t social or like to have fun. she is very outgoing, enjoys adventures, but don’t be surprised if she has part of the trip planned or mapped out. when she gets a nice buzz going you won’t be able to stop her from showing off her incredibly uncoordinated dance moves. she’s the type of friend who will be at your beck and call, she cares deeply for people and is very loyal. tell her your deepest darkest secrets and she’ll hold them to her grave. she’s not the type to fight, in fact if you approach her she’ll curl up into a shell and back down. she does not like confrontation but if she has an issue she will be straightforward and tell you how she’s feeling in the nicest way possible. she doesn’t flaunt her family’s money but she isn’t shy about the name brands she wears and she loves to spend it. if you come to hang out expect some kind of baked goods or snacks freshly made by yours truly. she’s picky when it comes to the guys, is known to not have random hook ups, making her slightly unattainable. however if she finds someone she likes, there’s no stopping her.

BACKGROUND:

Just like the meaning behind her name – Alice will bring you the sweetest kind of comfort when you’re around her.

Born and raised in Los Angeles into a well-known family, Alice has never struggled financially. You would think she’s a happy kid, but her childhood would be best described as lonely. Her father’s family is the owner a successful consulting firm, Advice Alliance. Her mother met her father in college when they were both studying finance in New York. Having the same educational background, her mother has been helping her father to become a partner in the firm. Being such a business-oriented man, his father took the initiative to start being an angel investor in businesses that will give him high return in the future.

Alice is their only child, so the pressure to be the next generation to run the business has always been real for her. She was always expected to get the best grades in school and she always lived up to their expectations. Growing up, her parents were barely there for her since she was a little girl and barely acknowledged her accomplishments. At the age of ten years old, her aunt who is a freelance photographer moved into their house. She became Alice’s best friend and even sometimes took Alice with her to watch the photoshoot. It quickly piqued her interest in photography, and she started getting tiny photography lessons from her aunt.

Alice became more invested in the creative industry and she remembered thinking “I wish I could make something like that!” whenever she saw a beautiful piece of clothing. She started to think less about the fact that her parents were almost always out on business trips- instead she started making little sketches of dresses that she thought were beautiful (mostly princess dresses), using only her imagination. At the age of fifteen, she got her first camera as her birthday present from her aunt. Her passion for photography grew even stronger and it was becoming more evident to her that this was something she wanted to pursue alongside being a fashion designer.

Throughout high school, Alice stayed focus and still got amazing grades. Her parents were starting to talk to her about college and even tried to plan it for her. Finance, that’s what she must take. They really wanted her to follow their footsteps and while Alice always wanted to impress them, she didn’t want to spend her life doing something she’s not going to enjoy. Knowing that her parents wouldn’t be supportive, she started applying for scholarships earlier than everyone else in her senior year. Getting accepted into Belvedere University for fashion design study was the best thing to happen to Alice. Her parents were reluctant to let her go, but she was persistent.

Here she was- Belvedere University, pursuing something she has always dreamed of. She wanted everything to be different this time, she wanted to be different. After missing out on pretty much all normal teenager stuffs, she decided to join a sorority, Delta Phi Nu. It is her junior year and it’s time to make a change. To make friends and to  live a little. What’s the worst that could happen? It feels like she’s got everything she’s always dreamed of.

PERSONALITY:

Most people will describe her as super friendly, she will give you the warmest smile and make you feel welcomed

She’s very attentive, you tell her anything... she’ll pay close attention to every word you say

She’s a pretty reserved person, will most likely not make a first move when it comes to anything

Apprehensive when it comes to what everyone would call fun, while she wants to be more social, she doesn’t want any distractions

Overall a sweet and caring girl. you won’t ever see Alice Duncan being involved in any kind of troubles

Who is Luke

Hey it’s Luke Walker, he is a SENIOR at Belvedere University from MELBOURNE. when he left high school he was voted most likely to BECOME A BEACH BUM, what do you think? now he is the VICE PRESIDENT of BETA THETA PI and majoring in COMMUNICATIONS. his friends describe him as RESOURCEFUL but also kinda IRRESPONSIBLE, but don’t tell them i told you that ! 

First a bit of History

“Come on dad… It’s gonna be alright. I’m sure I can fix it.“

“I have warned you Luke.”

“Really I’ll graduate in time, trust me.”

“I wish I can belive you.”

“Dad I…”

“Look boy, I told you what was going to happen right? You want to keep playing, fine for me, but from now on you will be doing it with your own dime.”

“D-”

“Don’t. Just don’t. You won’t see a dollar for me until you graduate. For real…”

And that’s ladies and getleman is how I got to the  beginning of this story. My harsh and sad welcome to the real world. I know a little late to get there at 21 right? Perhaps, but what can I do? I was born lucky. But you might ask, how did I get in such a dire predicament? Well, stay a while and listen.

Let’s start from the beginning shall we? I know, boring, but whatever, that’s how these things go. I was born in Melbourne, but the truth was, I never felt like I belonged there. Dad’s company deals in import-export all around the world and where his business went, the family followed. So yeah, I have been around. A lot. Which in hindsight might have not been too bad, but god if I hated it when I was a kid. New friends, new schools, new places. I stopped caring after a while. It’s fine, as long as you give things the weight they deserve, live by the minute and all that bull-. Have fun and whatever, next year  you won’t be there anymore. So who cares about all the drama right? And by the way, if I used to cut some corners here and there, well it would be forgotten once I had to change school again so. Besides, I’m not an idiot (well...), I know how the world runs, my family is well off, but it wouldn’t if had staid locked at my home town. So yeah, there definitely are perks. And most of the time, I was no more than a mile from the beach, which is definitely something I don’t mind. I have been riding the waves on every freaking ocean man. That’s definitely not a bad life. Thing is though, college has been a cool change of pace. Four years in the same place, I rushed a Beta Theta PI and never looked back. The house is party central, parents are half a world away, I felt like I could do all the fuck that I want. Which is pretty much true you see. Now, unfortunately there is a ‘but’ there always must be right? We are ruled by butts... ups I meant ‘buts’, my bad.

And well… let’s say that perhaps I should have taken college slightly more seriously? A tiny bit maybe? My GPA is not as it should be and graduation, yeah I think I can see it on the horizon, or maybe it’s just a mirage… You know like an oasis when you are starving in the desert. That kind of mirage.

Fuck if I can tell. I certainly couldn’t do so to my parents and so maybe I ‘embellished’ the truth, just a tiny bit. Long story short, they found out and now I’m fucked. Now I just need to survive until I graduate of course, but as I said… not exactly close. One thing is certain though, not gonna spend the time I have left crying over it, I just need to figure something out to go back to partying baby. And you know? I have always been great at figuring stuff out…

Personality

Awesome, cool, smooth. That’s all there is to know. Fine, I’ll switch to third person now and put on some ‘honesty’ lenses ok. But that’s your loss.

Luke is Playful, unable to take things seriously, creative, always ready to crack a joke, apparently confident, but deep down he is struggling with a pretty significant amount of self doubt. He likes to give a very gregarious picture of himself to the world. Truth was, he is just a young man that doesn’t know where his life should go.

And that scares him deeply.He prefers to party than face problems and he lets his instinct dictate important choices in his life, just rolling with the flow. It worked in high-school, but then again, this is not high-school anymore and even if he cruised through most of college he is starting to realize that something has to change. Just, he has no idea what.

Self centered, but fiercely protective of those he loves. Someone might call him a bit dishonest at times, ready to cut corners if it would make his life easier, yet he becames honorable when it suits him. He cultivates lots of interests, but rarely gets past a superficial mastery, easily getting bored or drawn to the next new big thing.

woohoo  !!  so first things first,  her relationship with riverdale.  she is the  YOUNGER SISTER  to  mary ‘andrews’ collins.  aka,  the both of them grew up in riverdale.

she’s also the ex-wife to peyton maddox  !!  

this  BASICALLY  makes her the aunt to both betty cooper and archie andrews  (  bc as stated in the cinematic masterpiece,  clueless,  u divorce adults not the children  !!  )  

okay,  so she’s been divorced for about 2 years now  ??  she used to live in cali with peyton before the divorce  (  which ended with a couple fights  ),  and moved to chicago to teach for a bit. 

she’s been in town for two weeks now,  and has already scored a job as a high school history teacher at riverdale.

all in all,  she’s very supportive of women  (  and gets very over protective over her sister  ).  she does have a bit of a temper,  and tends to have the default personality of professionality,  but gayle is still very kind.  that’s all i got for now,  but i’ll probably update an about page sooner rather than later  !!
