I don't like to label people but I have to say (unfortunately) that these characteristics are definitely familiar. Had to part ways with a few and it HURT! What is really sad was the lengths they went to inflict pain and cause heartache to someone they "love". Maybe love means things to different people, but I could no longer allow their definition of love into our space. You don't have to love me, you don't even have to like me, BUT you will respect our home and our family. I hope that one day they'll learn to love themselves enough to want to change. We've been approached with things like, "You used to celebrate holidays", "You used to eat meat", "You used to...." - yeah, yeah, we all USED TO DO THINGS, but you grow and evolve... I mean, isn't that the point? We ALL used to pee and 💩 in diapers, but we outgrew that. Some days are easier than others. Today had me mentally drained before noon. Obsessing, overthinking and overanalyzing over things/people.
