Ahem- so-

Since the mercs are like stereotypes with added bits, I made pocket like the typical coward stereotype, BUT, go absolutely apeshit when threatened. Like a rat from the new York sewers.

The strongest relationship they have with the mercs is engie, since he was the nicest when they arrived at reds base. HE didn’t trap em in a glass or chew em like gum. Just scared the absolute shit out of them without even touching them :) They sometimes help him with repairs by squeezing into the machinery. Its not like they can get ground up or anything because of their densely packed atom system. (haha smart words) And they get to taste test his cooking first!

They sleep in engies workshop after heavy punched a hole in the wall for them. They decked it out, dug it out a bit more, decorated. Demo sewed together some little pillows and blankets and pj’s out of scrap materials. Engie and scout gave them some of their old mini figurine toys. So fucking cosy chat <3

Kinda like ant man in a way), MAKE them join his rocket jump sessions. One time he tried to teach them how to shoot a pistol but ended up getting shot in the foot instead. Blud wasn’t even mad. He was like a proud mama.

They think they’re a freak of nature. This mute, weird looking, unkillable freak. Their regular counterpart somewhere dead or alive in the world. Everyone is miles above them, and it gets so lonely down here sometimes.

Gets babied sometimes because of their size. THEY’RE AN ADUDLT DAMNIT!

Has beef with medic AND Archimedes. Like bird, like owner. Pocket and Archimedes THROW HANDS.

Some of the mercs get to vent to pocket when no one’s around. They’re a great listener. I mean how are they gonna tell anyone? Its not like they would anyway. They get to see the softer side of the mercs more than anyone else. They’ve seen them weep, they’ve heard their fears, their anxieties, their insecurities. Their the teams tiny shoulder to cry on.
