I've got a lot of problems with S7 but seeing a genuine friendship-focused moment between Willow and Buffy for possibly the first time since S4 is so lovely. I'm of the opinion that Willow is often not a good friend to Buffy, long before she gets addicted to magic. But this moment is so sweet and it's a clever way of portraying change in Willow as she seeks clear, active consent here before taking up Buffy's offer to help her heal herself. A marked contrast from the Willow we saw in S6 when her selfishness hit its zenith

I do wish we had more Willow/Buffy friendship moments. There are hardly any in the later seasons and I don't think that's wholly down to thematic narrative choices. The writers just dropped the ball on one of the best relationships. And it was to Willow's character's detriment

Did you know there is an episode of Criminal Minds (“Hashtag” 2014) in which most of the guest stars have character names that are a mash-up of Buffy or Angel characters, for example there is: Tara Harris, Charles Lorne, Detective Dawn Rosenberg, Alexander Chase, Riley Summers, Dr. Joyce Giles, Connor Holt, for some reason Daniel Osbourne and William Pratt make it in there un-mixed. Tara also mentions a Jonathan and an Andrew as well. The killer goes to Sunnydale High School, and yes, the school mascot is a razorback. Weird.

i still think about dru killing kendra. it was such a lazy write off to me. dru had the power to hypnotize people, she could’ve manipulated kendra into being on her side. dru could’ve changed the narrative by having a slayer on her team. spike killed 2 slayers, and that’s great. but having a slayer alive and helping vampires would’ve raised the stakes.

i also think that dark!buffy would’ve been phenomenal. the death of joyce could’ve been a major catalyst, because buffy was already going through an existential crisis. buffy has this people-pleasing attitude and i just wish we could’ve seen her go rogue for once. the others would’ve never seen it coming. it was all set in stone.
