i still think about dru killing kendra. it was such a lazy write off to me. dru had the power to hypnotize people, she could’ve manipulated kendra into being on her side. dru could’ve changed the narrative by having a slayer on her team. spike killed 2 slayers, and that’s great. but having a slayer alive and helping vampires would’ve raised the stakes.

i also think that dark!buffy would’ve been phenomenal. the death of joyce could’ve been a major catalyst, because buffy was already going through an existential crisis. buffy has this people-pleasing attitude and i just wish we could’ve seen her go rogue for once. the others would’ve never seen it coming. it was all set in stone.
