It's gone a bit cold around here and I've had to put on my warm woolen sweater again in the workshop. Last I did (when this photo was taken) was to shoot a winter arrangement tutorial for @houzzfrance. Happy sunday everyone! One of the perks of living in the mountains is that we get to enjoy our blooms a bit later and for longer... Forsythia are still going strong over here and I just love how they bring sun to my life and to my garden! I know later is not such a good thing when it comes to the arrival of spring and beautiful linger days. I will let you in a trick of mine to welcome spring inside my home a few weeks early: I cut forsythia branches still in early budding stages, smash the stems and place them in a vase in warm water. In a few days, my house feels happy and filled with bright yellow sunshine!
