Think i finally have an Idea for the restyle i wanna do for a few of my ghouls. I wanna make Catty and Venus at the very least part of a rock band, Catty lead singer and Venus on guitar. Abbey and Drac I'm not sure about including but I want if I did, Keyboard and Drums for them, or maybe Bass for Abbey?

How do you draw vash's wings? I've seen so many interpretations, ovs his original manga wings, sometimes body horror fluff. Plant like wings from the tristamp design. A combination of plant markings and wings. And ofc now with the reveal his black almost incaporeal wing(s), that look like their own dimension. I'm just curious how you would draw them?

for vash's wings i dont have an exact image, its all very fluid in my head, however i imagine him to still have feathers that sort of reminds you of the revealed form of a plant, with dark particles. does that make sense... sometimes its only two of these sometimes its all three. like i said its all fluid, changes everytime i draw

anyway some of my fave sketches:

this one's from when i first caught up with tristamp (episode 9) and saw a promotional art of vash with his new wings. at the time I didn't really like the design, but i liked the idea of vash having wings, so i sketched this

was thinking ab stories in which a character experiences Wings and it hurts a lot. but anyway the sketch itself is pretty basic, yes

this was before i read the manga, but i saw a panel of vash's wings. i thought of combining it with the shape of plant petals

this was how i imagined his wings would appear in stampede, like how the plants opened up, the wings start small on his back and slowly bloom. they're really wide, but also really flexible (again, like petals) and he can use them as a barrier by wrapping himself in it.

i finally read trimax! this was drawn from memory, but i basically had his manga wings ingrained on my brain at that point so there's p much nothing original here

conclusion uhh it depends on the vibe. i think i lean more towards multiple wings in the shape of the second sketch above, with additional black feathers. i do draw his markings but they take a lot of time sob
