OMNISCIENT Tiana was at the store getting groceries and other supplies for her nail shop. She was running out of a few gems and nail polishes, especially the ones that her clients loved.

Tiana knows that she has to watch her surroundings at all times because anything could happen to her while she's at the store. She was in the meat aisle, trying to get something different for dinner.

While she was doing that, she accidentally bumped into someone's kart. As they looked up at each other, she knew that it was Malakai's mom.

"Tiana? Is that you dear?" She asked.

"Oh, Ms Jackson wasn't expecting to see you here." Tiana said.

"It's so good to see you. Have you and my son been getting along?"

'This lady really believes we are still together.'

"We aren't together anymore, Ms. Jackson. I'm dating someone better, " she said, noticing his mom's expression change.

"Oh, that's unfortunate, hon. I thought you and my son had something together. You know, I wish you all could be together again," Ms Jackson said.

Tiana felt uncomfortable talking to his mother about her son; when she knew that her son was a total woman beater and an asshole, it was like she thought her son was innocent.

She began walking off with her kart, feeling uncomfortable, thinking about all the times when Malakai would beat her and tried to go to his mom for comfort, only to find out that she would defend him, saying it was an "accident." Or that "he didn't mean to do it; he was just angry."

It was just pissing her off thinking about it so it felt weird to be speaking to his mom out of all places.

She finished checking out as she headed towards her car, putting some of her stuff in the trunk and some in the backseat as she got inside.

Tiana felt her phone buzz as she saw a text from Jey.

Tiana placed the key inside her car while turning on the ignition and driving off back home.

"And I told you I don't give a damn about you getting a restraining order against me. I'm not leaving until you come with me and be with me so that we can be happy again." He said.

'This nigga is insane thinking I'm the same old Tiana that he knew, believing that I'll just obey him when something never goes his way.'

She scoffed at him being disbelief; she rolled her eyes at him.

"Get out now, I'm not playin' with yo' ass Kai, and I got things to do today, so leave." She said.

She did what she was told to do as sat in his car, waiting for the police to come, Tiana wish that he could just be in bars and not ruin her life all because he didn't want her to be with anybody else but him.

She had heard the police coming as she got out of the car, seeing them put handcuffs on Kai; he was giving her a dark stare as the police placed him inside their car, saying that they'd handle it from there.

"How did you know what was happening?" She asked.
