#btwn this and the umadara incident working out so well i fear this whole excursion has taught that little robit the wrong lessons #this and the dawnfather being kind of a dick to deanna... the idea that beings that fallible and terrified have so much power over you!!!#gods are real lucky the alternative is obviously worse bc they are doing terrible pr work rn #fresh cut grass #critical role #fcg #cr spoilers #critical role spoilers #man this would be such a fun discussion if people could be remotely normal abt it #am very curious where fcg goes from here though when so much of their story so far is abt seeing themselves as a fully realized person #which is not incompatible with dedicated religious belief! but when you're as deeply insecure in yr sense of self as fcg is #a powerful person or group coming to you and promising to give you life and meaning and community if you do exactly what they say is.#well it's ripe for further hurt and manipulation to say the least! at best it is probably not gonna fix things for you long term.#CRposting
