GIRL SHARK FILMS SHARK FOLMS SKSJSHSHS okay so there are a few classics i haven’t watched yet, and also a few new ones that i haven’t seen yet BUT I LOVE SHARK FILMS SO MUCH SKSHSGSGSKK the first like proper shark film i ever watched was the shallows (which i like but my brain is still too small to comprehend what happened at the end (i mean i get it but i just can’t imagine it— idek if you’ve seen the film but skshhs)) and after watching it three times it does get a bit boring (but now whenever i see pictures or videos of big waves i’m just waiting for a shark to show up like come ON SKSJSG

I’ve definitely read a whole ton more but I was dumb and didn’t think to like draft this list and then just keep adding to it... so I’m just attempting to go through my tags LOL please be patient with my dumbass.

(Fairy Tale AU)” I have no clue why this fic is not given more goddamn attention because holy shit yall, I have never been so grasped by a fic before. If you love medieval/fairy tale type things, you will love this fic. And if you don’t, you’re gonna love it anyways because @anika-ann​ writes SO. FUCKING. WELL. 100% fluff and love.

2. Abs Aren’t Always the Answer by @its-not-captain-america​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader “Steve asks Y/N what girls are interested in, trying to impress her. Several shirtless pics later it’s not working.” Y’all want hilarious shit??? What about Steve Rogers always trying to take his fucking shirt off because he has the DNA (and the body) of a stripper? JK that’s not the actual reason but this fic is so funny, I died reading the first 700 times (and the 701st time too... and every time after that). 100% hilarious.

3. Challenge Accepted...? by @anika-ann​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader ”Steve’s never been good at quick decision-making when it came to his own safety. After one particularly horrible experience, you find a way to remind him every day to think twice the next time he’s faced with a tough choice. He is not amused.” Steven Grant Rogers you stupid dumb hoe lol. That’s all I’mma say about this fic because it speaks for itself when you read it haha. Banter is iconic in this fic. 100% hilarious.

4. A Matter of Trust by @anika-ann​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader “You and Steve get to go to a mission together after a while; free drinks, partying, dressing-up nicely, stealing blueprints, the usual. You might even enjoy this as a couple.“ This time it’s Y/N that’s kindof a stupid dumb hoe but like that’s okay because when Y/N is a stupid dumb hoe, it’s not as stupid or dumb as when Steve does it. There’s a bit of a carry on between Challenge Accepted...? and this fic! So I would suggest reading that one first and then this :) 100% hilarious.

5. For a Smile by @anika-ann​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader “You see him run past every morning. So you smile, because he looks like a nice person. How could he not be when he smiles back and the world stops for a while to pay respect to such beauty?” So you know how Disney movies totally screwed over some of our perspectives of how guys were gonna come and sweep us off our feet? Yeah. This fic did it too. I’m still waiting for my fairytale fucking moment like this fic but if it never happens, I’ll settle for just reading this over and over again LOL. 100% F L U F F and LOVE.

6. Grease and Pearls by @anika-ann​​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader “All you know is uptown; fancy clothes, expensive cars, jewellery outshining one’s personality and exhausting dinners with family acquaintances and business partners. Your life is all planned out; one day, you’ll marry Howard Stark’s son and you’ll be the golden couple adored by press.” This 3-part series slayed me. Like honestly, I’ve never been so torn apart before. Y’all lucky that if you read it, you get to read all 3 parts right away whereas I had to sit and wait for my heart to be torn apart and then stomped on. (Jk anika i love you you know that). Super amazing thing I love about this fic: it’s got links to the dresses that Y/N wears (super cute btw) AND it’s got two different endings so you can decide!!! 100% ANGST and 100% FLUFF? At the same time??? Because of the two endings?!?!?!? NOTE: part 2 got some steamy smut in there so 18+ readers only. I had to take a cold shower after reading it like goddamn.

7. Be Alright by @kayteewritessteve​ ​| Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader “Steve goes through a bad breakup, but a sweet voice and a friendly smile helps him realize he can begin again, and that he definitely should.” God this fic. I can’t with this fic. It’s based on the Dean Lewis song Be Alright, which is already one of my favourites, but this fic, ugh, Kaytee knows how to hurt you that’s for sure. It’s so pure and so wonderful. 100% SAD but like it gets better promise.

8. Cold Feet by @anika-ann​ | Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader

NOTE: Part 4, 5, and 8 have some serious love smut in there so 18+ readers only please. UGH. I love this fic so much. I will continue to keep daydreaming about it and thinking about it all the time. God I love me some Dad!Steve. 50% FLUFF and 50% ANGST (which seriously tore my heart out like I cried).

Perfect date. Perfect gentleman…?” So my dumbass was so excited to read something that anika put out that I didn’t realize this was part 2 of a 3 part series lol I’m dumb yes I know. Anyways, this is part 1 so please don’t be like me and read the first part LOL. ANYWAYS, this was so fucking wholesome. This is definitely one that I need to read again and fully read in order (she’s got part 3 on her AO3, I believe) but ugh. I love the idea of Steve dating in this century, comparing things to how things were done in the old days ufglasodfhsd. I love it. Amazing. 100% FLUFF (I think because well my dumbass hasn’t finished but this part was fluffy :3)

I believe they’re poems written throughout the whole Steve and Bucky timeline. She’s used the Winter Soldier’s words and turned them into a gorgeous set of poems. 100% My favourite thing in the whole fucking world.

Alright so I know a lot of you guys know @kayteewritessteve​ but if you don’t, she’s this super amazing writer with INCREDIBLE series. (CLICK HERE TO SEE HER FULL MASTERLIST). But one of my most favourite series by her, and one of my favourite series of all time, is: If Only You Knew “You arrive home one day to find a wedding invite for two of your best friends from high school. You knew this day was going to come eventually, but even with that said, you weren’t prepared to return home. At least not after 7 years of avoiding Buckhannon, West Virginia. Or rather, avoiding him; your ex-best friend and the secret love of your life. But maybe it was finally time to face your past, to face him and everything else that happened on that horrible night.”  This 18 (plus an Epilogue) part series will literally have you screaming at your screen being like WHY YALL CANT JUST TELL EACH OTHER HOW YALL FEEL?!?!?!?! 75% angst (because Kaytee likes to hurt us) and 25% fluff BUT the fluff is SOOOOO worth it so it’s like 100% angst and 200% fluff (i was never a mathlete). NOW since, we’re on the topic of Kaytee’s writing, I’d also like to mention: Love and War  “In a harsh medieval world, you set out on a perilous quest that will lead you onto a forbidden land. A land ruled and controlled by a ruthless Warlord King, one who does not look favourably upon trespassers of any kind, and punishes all with an iron fist. You may not know exactly where this quest will end, but what you do know is you will forever be altered by it. And that knowledge alone is what truly terrifies you the most.” so I read this while Kaytee was writing it about a year ago and holllyyyyyy shit. Okay. So. Listen. Fantasy? Check. Romance? Check. *gasp* a replies post! A long replies post! A long replies post where I overshare again! *o* Yeah I kinda missed doing these. I’m now at home, but won’t be for much longer. First, I’m going to meet some of my new classmates on Friday and I’ll spend the whole weekend with them! We’re going somewhere...well I don’t even know where that is, just that it’s in nature and I’ve never been there before! Thank gods we’re meeting at the main station in Prague, or else I wouldn’t get there myself. Then on Moday, I have to go to my uni, and then once more on Wednesday I think? And on Wednesday, I’ll have to wake up at 4 am. my LiFe Is SoOoOOOoO HaRd oH mY gOd. No, I’ll be fine.

And a month from now, I’ll be moving to my dorm. That’s some crazy stuff. I can’t believe it’s happening. Last week, my dad actually took me to Prague and we went to see where it is. The location reminds me a lot of my home, but I won’t tell you what exactly that is because no one needs to know that. Anyway, school starts in October. I’m actually looking forward to studying, but the “living alone in a big city with people I’ve never seen before” part is scary. D: I’ll give you updates.

Anyway, today was a weird day. First, I sat alone by the lake when these two guys came and talked to me (I didn’t mind that actually, they were kinda nice), then when I got up and said I had to go home, one of them complimented my legs...which would’ve been really nice but then he basically implied he’d go to bed with me...and like literally five minutes ago he said he had a girlfriend...basically men are scary. Then later, mum and I went grocery shopping and I saw my middle school crush with his girlfriend...and decided that his girlfriend is cute, way cuter than him actually...bisexual culture I guess, crushing on your middle school crush’s girlfriend lmao. Then we went to pay for our groceries and the cashier...was my childhood friend who also happened to be my first crush and also my last crush and these days I’m wondering if I’m really crushing on him or if I’m just holding onto him because I don’t know any better. Long story but if you ever feel like I have a thing for childhood friends to lovers trope, maybe blame him.

*hugs* We're our own worst critics. I used to cringe at my old stuff too, but really it was decent. I might have learned more since then, but it was still good. I'm glad you can see the good in yours. :)

I’m definitely not as hard at my younger self anymore. I went and read some of my stories written when I was 13-14, and I tried to look at it that way. They weren’t perfect, but maybe they were good for a child of that age. I mean, I always got good grades on my writing homework, and my teachers have always liked how I worked with words, so...yeah, it’s not perfect, but I’m not going to have perfectly fleshed out characters and storylines when I have barely even understood that the world isn’t just black and white, good and evil. There are shades inbetween.

That got deep again but I have a lot of feelings about this and I’m sorry to my younger writer self for how I’ve treated her. Keep going, kid.

Yeah, this is so weird...I know people say it happens when the picture has a lot of “skintone” coloured pixels...but that’s not always the case with my flagged posts??

Also (I’ll never shut up about this)...why is there a female-presenting nipples rule when it clearly can’t ever tell female and male nipples apart? I’m just saying. And yes I get it, for AI it sure has to be difficult to tell such things apart but in my opinion that’s exactly why they should get rid of it and only incorporate it when it can tell it apart. Actually, hold on, nope. The nipple rule is stupid no matter what gender the nipple is.

For me a story is up to its writer. I don't mind only one picture with a huge text, or the contrary a lot of picture with little to no text. As long as we got attached to the characters, it's not important, as long as it's progressing and understandable.

Thank you for your feedback! I think it would be no more than one Word page of text. Which is a lot still but I think that’s the maximum I’d go for. And I mean, I’d show all the important moments. It’s just, I guess I don’t need ten different pictures of the same conversation when these people are just standing next to each other. And it doesn’t need to be split into ten different posts either.

I’ll figure it out, don’t worry.

Hey there! and yeeesss, i’m so glad you’re gonna give anime a try! there are so many good stories and plots in anime which dont exist in western media so it’s a great mode of entertainment! so as for recs, lemme copy and paste my previous answer to this similar question and update it to answer yours!

Neon Genesis Evangelion - i admit it has a slow buildup but be patient because you will really find it intense and see how it’s not your typical mecca anime. so far, i think it seems to be a deconstruction of the genre and has alot of psychological themes

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - i dont know why my memory about this anime is somehow a blur. i’m sure i finished it but also not so i’m rewatching it and honestly i think this is a good starter anime. i know many people who do not normally watch anime and watched this

Boku no Hero Academia - it’s a recent anime and it’s really good! i think it’s on course to becoming a really big anime that will last many seasons at this rate. the story is about a world where majority of the inhabitants are heroes cause they have quirks (powers).. and the premise is that the main character doesnt have one but he wants to be a hero so watch and see how the story unfolds

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures (currently on Stardust Crusaders) - macho anime with an excellent plot! the guys are hot haha and many of the memes are in japanese so watch the original subbed but if you prefer not to read, the dub isnt bad. it’s very memey but the story is really entertaining and has unpredictable moments

One Punch Man - a parody of a superhero anime. tbh this isnt really binge-watch material cause it’s like a running gag and the story unfolds after episode 5 so i’ve just been watching this during my cardio days in the gym. but it’s a parody of a superhero anime

Hunter X Hunter - this anime is popular and it’s about hunters. so the beginning has the protagonist wanting to be a hunter and then he meets some fellow hunters along the way. it’s one of the highest rated anime in MyAnimeList (the RottenTomatoes equivalent of the anime world) so yeah check this out!

Tokyo Ghoul - the opening song is what captivated me to watch this tbh. although i heard the manga is better. it’s interesting though

Anime currently airing and I’m caught up on (just waiting for the next season to air)

Gakuen Babysitters - super feel good anime about babies!!!!! 

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - super funny anime. if you need a laugh, this will really lift you up. i watched the first two episodes in sub and dub back to back.. and i can vouch that the voice actors for the English dub are excellent. it’s actually even funnier.. but if you prefer subs, then that’s fine. it’s just the lines are more humorous, expressive and have more variety :) Nozaki’s voice is also attractive in the dub.. it’s still very Nozaki imo. this anime pokes fun at the shoujo manga yet still has romantic elements. it’s mostly comedy though 

Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan - it’s the Game of Thrones of anime imo.. like it’s so GOOD.. it will just make you gag after every episode!!! it’s so intense and there are really badass characters. and the plot is really brilliant. like if you think season 1 was like WHAT THE FUCkk.. wait til season 2! this anime is crazy and exciting. not for the faint-hearted tbh cause it can be graphic and disturbing (also dont get attached. they could die!) but yeah, this anime is popular true and some say it’s overrated but that’s because it really deserves all the recognition and success it has for its amazing plot

Anime watched/finished:

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Battle Tendency) - SONO CHI NO SADAMEEE JOOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the type of anime that’ll get you wanting to go to the gym and lift. that being said, it has a really amazing story

Kimi no Na Wa - universally lauded and recently released! it’s the best film released in 2016 imo. i swear it’s really next level storytelling

Rurouni Kenshin - i think i watched this anime twice/thrice.. It’s so suspenseful. it’s about samurais. and this anime made me interested about Japan’s history. it’s kind of a period drama with amazing fight sequences. and it’s critically acclaimed. it’s my father’s all-time favourite anime

Rurouni Kenshin OVA - it’s a prequel. also more violent and tragic than its anime counterpart.. like it’s really different from the series. but it’s so good. you’ll find out how Kenshin got his iconic X mark from here!)

Ghost Stories - THE DUB IS A MASTERPIECE! THE SUBBED IS SHIT. TRUST ME. the DUB is the popular one too cause it’s the superiour version. You really have to see this one. the anime bombed in Japan so the english dubbers got all the rights for the anime and they gave the go signal for the dubbers to do whatever the fuck they want and the end result is fucking hilarious. it shits on the Scary Movie Franchise tbh

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - i swear do not be deceived.. it is a really intense and surprisingly dark anime with excellent plot twists

Jigoku Shoujo / Hell Girl - angst, tragedy, philosophical anime analysing humanity’s hatred, need for vengeance, and suffering. Futakomori or the 2nd season is my favourite but it’s worth finishing the entire series. 3rd season is very painful to watch though and you dont have to watch that one tbh if you dont want to lol

Love Live! School Idol Project - i honestly just watched this like out of curiosity and just for kicks. i was not expecting to love it but after episode 3, i was like wait??? wasnt this anime supposed to be fun?? why am i crying?? so yeah, it’s super good, touching, entertaining and sweet! and the songs are really catchy and good.. TBH this anime is like so gay since there are no men (except Honoka’s dad) so yeah it passes the Bechdel Test with perfect score

Love Live! Movie - the conclusion to the anime!

Love Live! Sunshine - i watched this like a few months after finishing the original series cause i loved the original girls and i was worried i wont like these girls.. but honestly, you will appreciate them. and it has more gay subtext. btw tell me who your fave girls/best girls are after watching Love Live and Sunshine. my best girls are Umi Sonoda and Kanan Matsuura :>

Yu Yu Hakusho - occult, spirit world, ghosts, and fighting. you most probably have heard of this

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters - 1st series starring Yugi is iconic. it might seem juvenile though so i’m not sure if you will like it but the anime is really good if you love the card games

Digimon - can be very intense! better than Pokemon imo

Cardcaptor Sakura - this is also suspenseful. like the premise is essentially that Sakura has to catch all the “monsters” that were freed from this book. and it’s up to her to “capture” them and put into cards. magic, fantasy, and beautiful animation

Ranma ½ - this was so funny but the ending was disappointing cause it got cancelled apparently.. i really hope this will go out of limbo and give us a proper ending like InuYasha did but i doubt it

Danganronpa (murder plot twists, intense and despair-filled storyline. click this to know more about the premise. it’s like Battle Royale meets CSI meets How To Get Away With Murder. btw i highly suggest you play this game (it’s available on Steam) instead of watching the poorly condensed anime. so buy it on steam or you can download it how you like cause it’s one of the best games ever. and if you plan on watching this, there is no Danganronpa 2 anime so yeah just play the first game tbh. here’s a trailer of the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwJeZPMhdUk. if ya dont wanna play the games then you can watch the anime. and after watching this, here’s a link of the playthrough of the 2nd game. it’s super fun, full of plot twists, and interactive) 

Yuri On Ice - it’s a really cute gay anime. people will argue it isnt and its queerbait but i’m gay and alot of the things which happen are too much for just bros to do so yeah, i believe it’s canon gay or mlm. and i enjoyed it so you watch it and be the judge

Ghost In The Shell - it’s a sci-fi movie

Yakitate Japan - baking and cooking!

The Murdered:

I really love Ruff and I hope to God me placing her first on the kill-roster doesn’t come across any other way. 

Anyway, later on in this post I say that none of the dragon rider girls meet the “Cheerleader” (for horror movies) archetype, but Ruffnut might be the closest; even though she isn’t a jock like Astrid and “Cheerleader” are, she in this Au is the girl who closer meets the typical behavior of the Cheerleader characters. I decided against calling her “Cheerleader” since that would be misleading, and went with the classic “Party Girl”.

Since last year I’ve changed her costume - instead of a zombie fairy princess, she’s a neon zombie punk (or something). When this is colored, her face/bodypaint and hair-dyes are going to be very bright and pop-art-y!

Not written into this sketch: the “Aggressively Heterosexual (Hiding Something?)” trope.

Don’t worry, Tuff still has all his smarts. He’s less like the the stereotypical stoner and more like stoners we might have met in high school (bright kids with high grades but keep a chill and nice attitude). A... realistic “stoner bro”? No, lol. There’s NOTHING realistic about being a stoner. Stay in school, kids. Be SOBER in school kids!!

Fishlegs is usually the hardest dragon rider for me to draw, but I’ve been working with him a lot recently so maybe by Halloween this will look a lot more like him! 

GOD, finally this pose came out. I had it in my head this whole time, the angle and his expression, but it never worked until TONIGHT[10.17us]! How exciting for me, and you, the viewer, because we both get a very in-character look and feel to this sketch. With color, his face will be lit by the phone screen, and he’ll look more like the classic Frankenstein monster in the dark.

I’m sorry he dies. He’s the guy who hides in the closet and thinks the killer can’t hear him even though he’s breathing heavy.

The Survivors:

Surprise! (Hiccup wasn’t in the Halloween pic last year.. because I forgot about him lol. He’s a skeleton! I never changed that, even though I never drew him lmfao What is the truth.) Hiccup the ‘ ‘  anatomically correct ‘ ‘ skeleton, emphasized air-quotes. Oh, I picked up references for Fishleg’s classic Frankenstein’s monster costume, but I took a hard pass on pulling up a gd skeleton picture. He’s a cartoon man, it doesn’t matter!

Honestly, between you and me, I wanted to give Hiccup the “Nice Guy” title (from X) and then kill him off. LOL! But he’s the hivemind-fandom’s favorite and I don’t know what the protocol is if you kill the main and favored character!? So on principle I couldn’t. Maybe someday...

Now I KNOW there would be backlash if I killed Astrid, and it would be from me mostly. Astrid should never die, ever. Period. In anything. Originally I was going to name her “The Fighter”, or some jock-related name (because she is a jock in this. The closest thing was “Cheerleader” from the linked article, but even though I like that archetype, it doesn’t really fit with any of the rider-girls..) but I like “Last Girl” characters, and I think that was the closest to what I want from her character in this Au.

Update: The original sketch for Astrid she had a halo, as she does in my 2016 Halloween piece — but I decided last minute to instead give her a crown of thorns.

Fun Costume Fact: I was inspired to bloody her wing(s) [see:color] by this scene from one of my favorite childhood animes. Yeah, I watched that as a child. [CLIP TW: Body horror, blood, gore]

Went through different ideas for Heather, including calling her “Basketcase”, but I thought emphasizing her relationship to the Killer was important. She’s sort of a mix between Hiccup and Astrid’s archetypes. —  I was thinking of Laurie Strode (”Halloween 1&2″/”Halloween:H20″) specifically, and I feel Laurie falls between those two paths.

But I very likely will change my mind and kill everyone but Heather, haha.

Update: I think she looks a lot like Zooey Deschanel in the final lineart, haha. #FaceClaim

The Killer:

The real reason this Au has taken a whole fucking year is because I wanted a human killer, I wanted it to be a slasher, not a monster horror (though I was tempted) or psychological thriller (I dropped my online psych course, lmfao). But I was very, very hesitant about casting Dagur as the Killer because his character has gone through a redemption and I don’t.. want to take that away.

But it’s just an Au so today I decided to say “F*ck it!” (censored because I don’t ever cuss out loud..)

Update: Very important update: I gave him “bunny teeth” just like Tyler Hoechlin’s and now I can’t imagine Dagur without them. #Teethclaim (okay that’s horrifying lmfao)

WEEK 1: The Pakiramdaman Stage

Hi mga mamshies! So my first week as an intern was totally awkward and I can't even contain the shyness all over my body. It is like everyone's watching me from behind cuase like I'm on the front row and beside me is Sir Cultivo's table, he has the highest rank (aside from the chief) from the group (I guess), and I was like "what do I do now, do I have to open educational sites or can I use social media during work or may be youtube will do?" I was so insane this week and all I heard was, "Hey Drex" , "Drex okay ka lang?", "Drex ano gusto mong pagkain?" , and the question goes on and on and on. They were like a paparazzi asking me some questions that somehow very interesting naman to answer but may part na nakakatakot magreply thinking that baka mali ang masabi mo or iba masabi mo because of random stuffs running on my head about the office and the work. Well first impression: they're very friendly. I mean, that was my first week and you can really feel the bondness and the care for their interns. You can really feel the vibe of a family and jokes were always the main course inside the office.

 It was fun but I would be happy if you'll read my first 5 days with the Regional Information Technology Office's misters. ;)

Hi there! Today marks my official Camp Ola invasion as an intern at the Regional Information Technology Office - Police Regional Office 5. I was so excited a while ago 'cause I got a chance to work with the police officers and I think that's so awesome. Knowing that they're real policemen and their time is literally on point like if they said 8am, you should come 10mins before 8am, to make an impression (of course, i'm kidding btw). I am a morning person but i really don't know what happened today because I felt so heavy and my body's still embracing my pillows (LOL). The result, I'm almost 30mins late. By the way, thanks to the flag raising ceremony every morning, we're stucked for almost 15-20 mins and the sun's coming up (sobrang init). I forgot that thing today so I ended up waiting in line, feeling the heat and my boss told me (indirectly) to come early. My very first advice from my boss. Anyway, it didn't sounded offensive to me but rather an alarm that I should never ever do that again and improve my time management issue. Oh geez.

I'm a bit nervous on how they see me as their intern and if they're going to throw some works agad-agad during my first day. But my boss told me that it is not going to be a heavy duty and their just going to expose me on how works are done inside the Regional IT Office. He also added that he will teach me some programming things and some tips/techniques on how to deal with different programming languages.  So I said, "Oh yes, sir. That would be fun po :) " Then after the orientation, he gave me my own table. He also added that the table is so lucky because the recent intern also took that place and ... actually I really don't know why he said that it's a "lucky table". Walang further description kung bakit hahaha. Actually I was expecting that there would be a lot of works today, but I just sat there for almost 4 hours doing nothing. Well I did some research about website designs, what are the trends on websites, red some news on GoogleNews and I had a chance to visit Facebook's design blog and red a lot of articles on how they came up with the new updates and how they designed it. And, my boss gave me this not so usual work at 3pm. Yes, it's 1 hour before the uwian time (pero pinalabas ako ng 5pm awow, but it's okay para hindi na mainit hahah) This work is somehow media students usually did, it is the "put a lyrics on this video" gaming. I'm familiar with that 'cause I did a lot of video editing but this job is so magaan naman sir (charot). I wasn't expecting this, guess what, I will be adding lyrics of a song from the music video of the Cebuano police officers. Of course, it is Cebuano, a legit Cebuano song and I don't know wha quality is that but I can't and I don't understand what their singing. Downside: walang copy si boss ng lyrics so i have to listen to it carefully and write down the lyrics so that i could fit it on the music video. Seriously, my head hurts for real. Hindi ko alam kong sinasabi nila so I told my boss "Sir di ko po maintindihan ang sinasabi nila" and he laughed. He'll just search for the lyrics na lang daw but there's no record in the internet 'cause it was an original composition of police officer. So he decided to ask his Cebuanos friends (pulis din) to give him the lyrics. Oh gad, that was a relief but still I tried to listen to it pa rin and fortunately I got to songs done but meron pang kulang pero okay na. So I did a good job pa rin :) Here's the video btw (Cebuano dialect but the message is very good):

It’s never been easy for me to cope up with the environment specially that it is not my dream office, honestly. I was dreaming of a Google-ish office or an office with lots of cubicle, you have your own table, your comfy chair and lots of freebies. Well, I think I was expecting too much. OH I FORGOT. I’m just an intern and I have to experience everything from below. Hahah I blame those movies with office themes. Gosh I admire them so much. Anyway, my coping up with my officemates (sorry i don’t know what to call them. is it the police officers or officemates or co-workers? not so sure with that anyway hahah) has been so present everytime they approach me. It seems that they are trying to befriend with me, well it’s working, but I think I need a lot of time  to master the act of friendliness. I don’t know what’s happenning to me but I’m too shy to approach them and I’m so haggard to look at them (hahahah)

This day had been a sit-all day only session. No works, no deadlines. I’m still in the process of coping up and waiting for works.

Hello Hello Hello Today is not a bad day, and also not a good day to celebrate  haha Im still wondering what work they could give me for my intern. But it seems that, making systems was not a good idea coz  (1) I was not ready for it and (2) there’s no other system that they want me to develoop. THey’ve said that there’s still no other system that needs to be develop, so they’re still on stand by.

So I just spent reading articles about UI/UX Designing and other designing blogs. Just to feed my little knowledge about designs. Also, I started to learn reading online news every morning coz why not. Im not a fan of this hobby but still  I want to maximize my time sitting in my table doing nothing. At lunch break, I went to BU to accomplish some paperworks to be passed and at 3pm, they cooked pancit for our merienda.

Hello Hello Hello and welcome to my blog as an intern. In this post, I’ll be including my April 27 and 28 post because as usual, wala pang ganap. I’ve been doing a lot of things that could maximize my time at the office but still I;m not satisfied. Maybe I’m just expecting so much more like paperworks, printing or document-ing. Well, there’s nothing.

Don’t worry I’ll be posting an article explaining the works that were done inside the Regional IT Office of PRO5, so that you’ll have a idea on what particular work is being offered in my agency.

What I did last time were the same works that I did last April 27-28.

Work ALERT!: I heard Sir Glenn (our IT officer) that there will be a team building happening on May 12-13. So we are expecting a lot of works on or before that week. HOPING ;)

Hey there! and yeeesss, i’m so glad you’re gonna give anime a try! there are so many good stories and plots in anime which dont exist in western media so it’s a great mode of entertainment! so as for recs, lemme copy and paste my previous list and update it to answer your question!

Currently watching:

Neon Genesis Evangelion - i admit it has a slow buildup but be patient because you will really find it intense and see how it’s not your typical mecca anime. so far, i think it seems to be a deconstruction of the genre and has alot of psychological themes

Boku no Hero Academia - it’s a recent anime and it’s really good! i think it’s on course to becoming a really big anime that will last many seasons at this rate. the story is about a world where majority of the inhabitants are heroes cause they have quirks (powers).. and the premise is that the main character doesnt have one but he wants to be a hero so watch and see how the story unfolds!

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures (currently on Stardust Crusaders) - macho anime with an excellent plot! the guys are hot haha and many of the memes are in japanese so watch the original subbed but if you prefer not to read, the dub isnt bad. it’s very memey but the story is really entertaining and has unpredictable moments

One Punch Man - a parody of a superhero anime. tbh this isnt really binge-watch material cause it’s like a running gag and the story unfolds after episode 5 so i’ve just been watching this during my cardio days in the gym. but it’s really funny and a good anime

Hunter X Hunter - this anime is popular and it’s about hunters. so the beginning has the protagonist wanting to be a hunter and then he meets some fellow hunters along the way. it’s one of the highest rated anime in MyAnimeList (the RottenTomatoes equivalent of the anime world) so yeah check this out!

Recently watched:

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Battle Tendency) - SONO CHI NO SADAMEEE JOOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the type of anime that’ll get you wanting to go to the gym and lift. that being said, it has a really amazing story

Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan - it’s the Game of Thrones of anime imo.. like it’s so GOOD.. it will just make you gag after every episode!!! it’s so intense and there are really badass characters. and the plot is really brilliant. like if you think season 1 was like WHAT THE FUCkk.. wait til season 2! this anime is crazy and exciting. not for the faint-hearted tbh cause it can be graphic and disturbing (also dont get attached. they could die!) but yeah, this anime is popular true and some say it’s overrated but that’s because it really deserves all the recognition and success it has for its amazing plot

Love Live! School Idol Project - i honestly just watched this like out of curiosity and just for kicks. i was not expecting to love it but after episode 3, i was like wait??? wasnt this anime supposed to be fun?? why am i crying?? so yeah, it’s super good, touching, entertaining and sweet! and the songs are really catchy and good.. TBH this anime is like so gay since there are no men (except Honoka’s dad) so yeah it passes the Bechdel Test with perfect score

Love Live! Movie - the conclusion to the anime! 

Love Live! Sunshine - i watched this like a few months after finishing Love Live! cause i loved the original girls and i was worried i wont like these girls.. but honestly, you will appreciate them. and it’s EVEN GAYER.. and is soo good too! 

btw tell me who your fave girls/best girls are after watching Love Live and Sunshine. my best girls are Umi Sonoda and Kanan Matsuura :>

Anime watched/finished:

Kimi no Na Wa - universally lauded and recently released! it’s the best film released in 2016 imo. i swear it’s really next level storytelling

Rurouni Kenshin - i think i watched this anime twice/thrice.. It’s so suspenseful. it’s about samurais. and this anime made me interested about Japan’s history. it’s kind of a period drama with amazing fight sequences. and it’s critically acclaimed. it’s my father’s all-time favourite anime

Rurouni Kenshin OVA - it’s a prequel. also more violent and tragic than its anime counterpart.. like it’s really different from the series. but it’s so good. you’ll find out how Kenshin got his iconic X mark from here!)

Ghost Stories - THE DUB IS A MASTERPIECE! THE SUBBED IS SHIT. TRUST ME. the DUB is the popular one too cause it’s the superiour version. You really have to see this one. the anime bombed in Japan so the english dubbers got all the rights for the anime and they gave the go signal for the dubbers to do whatever the fuck they want and the end result is fucking hilarious. it shits on the Scary Movie Franchise tbh

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - i swear do not be deceived.. it is a really intense and surprisingly dark anime with excellent plot twists

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - super funny anime. if you need a laugh, this will really lift you up. i watched the first two episodes in sub and dub back to back.. and i can vouch that the voice actors for the English dub are excellent. it’s actually even funnier.. but if you prefer subs, then that’s fine. it’s just the lines are more humorous, expressive and have more variety :) Nozaki’s voice is also attractive in the dub.. it’s still very Nozaki imo. this anime pokes fun at the shoujo manga yet still has romantic elements. it’s mostly comedy though

Jigoku Shoujo / Hell Girl - angst, tragedy, philosophical anime analysing humanity’s hatred, need for vengeance, and suffering. Futakomori or the 2nd season is my favourite but it’s worth finishing the entire series. 3rd season is very painful to watch though and you dont have to watch that one tbh if you dont want to lol

Yu Yu Hakusho - occult, spirit world, ghosts, and fighting. you most probably have heard of this

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters - 1st series starring Yugi. iconic!

Digimon - can be very intense! better than Pokemon imo

Cardcaptor Sakura - this is also suspenseful. like the premise is essentially that Sakura has to catch all the “monsters” that were freed from this book. and it’s up to her to “capture” them and put into cards. magic, fantasy, and beautiful animation

Ranma ½ - this was so funny but the ending was disappointing cause it got cancelled apparently.. i really hope this will go out of limbo and give us a proper ending like InuYasha did but i doubt it

Danganronpa (murder plot twists, intense and despair-filled storyline. click this to know more about the premise. it’s like Battle Royale meets CSI meets How To Get Away With Murder. btw i highly suggest you play this game (it’s available on Steam) instead of watching the poorly condensed anime. so buy it on steam or you can download it how you like cause it’s one of the best games ever. and if you plan on watching this, there is no Danganronpa 2 anime so yeah just play the first game tbh. here’s a trailer of the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwJeZPMhdUk. if ya dont wanna play the games then you can watch the anime. and after watching this, here’s a link of the playthrough of the 2nd game. it’s super fun, full of plot twists, and interactive)
