Y'all are always shitting on other countries, but the moment they respond with the same bs, suddenly it's bad and you are victims.
Never realized how nobody does this to other countries but the USA, and everyone else does it only to the USA? Never heard of reaping what you sow? The USA has been culturally colonizing the whole world for the last century, trying to make everyone like them. Every time something is done differently from the USA, it's stupid or bad, and even so-called leftists does it. A lot of USAmericans online have said to me that they have no reasons to know geography outside their country, but we should know each one of their states because they are more important than our countries. Racism, which historically has been about creating races based on people's origins (Europeans' texts talk about a French race, a German Race, an Algerian Race, etc... They have been massacres because of this racism), is about skin colors ONLY because USAmericans said so. Yesterday, I saw a video about a harmless wedding tradition from a south European country, and the comments were full of USAmericans calling it "stupid white European tradition". USAmericans spread misinformation about other countries, to the point that if you try to correct things, they tell you they know more about it than you, but no, you don't know more about my culture, my country, its history and its law than me (that time y'all were spreading on Tumblr that France made Halal food illegal, which was not true at all) And no, it doesn’t work in the other sense because of the USA cultural colonialism. Making stupid petitions, with no knowledge about what really going on but also the arrogance to think a foreign government will listen to a bunch of random USAmericans (again, so-called leftists, wanting another country to bend and obey the USAmericans). Under videos talking about a biographic manga from a survivor of Hiroshima, the comments are full of USAmericans saying bs like "W USA" for the bombs. We are talking about a survivor, an innocent child fed propaganda by an Empire and traumatized by another, telling his story as an adult, and USAmericans are celebrating the violence, because "they deserved it", "Pearl Harbor", "Japanese are racists anyway". Holding Russian citizens accountable for the war in Ukraine as if they haven't been living in a dictatorship for decades, aka decades of propaganda and control. They are supposed to stop their government but y'all, who are in a way more free country, cannot???
Every time I saw Europeans make those comments about USAmericans, it was because they made comments about Europe. Calling Europeans "colonizers" when only half of the European countries participated and less than 5% (only 2% for France) had a say or even was informed about colonization. Also, news flash, but people in Europe aren't the descendant of colonizers, those are the white folks in ex-colonies (white folks in the USA have all more colonizers blood than me. I have none) Blaming Europe for the problems in the USA like the colons in the USA couldn't make decisions on their own, you have been independent for 200 years, and the majority of the country wasn't colonized yet. (The USA is not like the other colonies, stop acting as if it is) Saying Europe invented racism, which is simply wrong as racism and xenophobia can be observed everywhere in the world centuries ago and, also, racism based on white supremacy was invented by white colons in America and brought to Europe (There were black colons at the beginning, and free black people with rights, but the white colons didn't like that and decided that anyone with a bit of non-white blood was inferior. Europe was more functioning on a Catholicism supremacy than on skin color, and have been in contact with Africans and Asians well before Christ. Btw, he isn't whitewashed, no JC representation is supposed to look like him, that's forbidden. They used symbolism and the materials they had. Made him white to look like the locals most of the time. There is a church near me where Jesus and Marie are the blackest possible because they used a black wood, and this statue is old af. People there thought for centuries that Jesus and Marie were black) Mocking British people food for lacking spices is classicism, spices were a luxury only less than ≈10% of the population could afford, cultural food is often what the majority of the population could afford to make. Saying Europeans have no culture or that the USA does our cultural food better, which is deeply insulting and wrong (there are multiple cultures in one country, even if they are smaller than a state. Just in France, the bretons and the basques are different because their history is) Insulting a culture in general just because it's a European culture. Calling black Europeans by their African origin instead of their nationalities, which is deeply racist in Europe (only racists here will not call a black person European if they live here), and refusing to correct yourself when those black people tell you to not do that (French soccer players said multiple times to call them French to USAmericans, and were called racists for asking to be referred by their nationality). Saying to someone they have "enough" representations because they are Europeans, as if white USAmericans are a representation of every white culture (they're not) and there weren't any European cultures and minorities who have been harm through history (Poland was destroyed by WWII, with anyone having a high school diploma being killed. The concentration camps were build for the Slavs, and around 20 millions were killed by the Nazis, the total number will forever be unknown, but because some are Russians, we better not care, right? Btw, slavery literally come from the word Slavs because they were sold as slaves outside of Europe. Yeah, some Europeans were also slaves). And I have so much more example.
When France went through terrorist attacks, USAmericans treated us like shit. Being French online, even on Tumblr, was hard, and it made it to the national news the way USAmericans spoke of the attacks. We were grieving, and USAmericans laughed at us or blamed us. Even still today, when those attacks are brought up, USAmericans tell us we deserved it. People, innocents, not even all French, from all religious background, deserved to die because we authorize sacrilege. (btw, multiple attacks targeted the Jewish community and were antisemitic, but y'all so-called leftists don't care if you can be against France. Also, the gov at the time immediately said that Muslims were the second victims of the attacks.)
You want people to be nice to you? Then learn to be nice to others.
Btw, half of the bs I talked about is present in the tags USAmericans have left on this post.
"wow smericans are so shitty because [something we have no control over] [something we have no control over] [really blatant fatphobia] [something we have no control over] [antiblackness] [antiblackness] [antiblackness] [anti-indigenousness] [something we have no control over] [more fatphobia] [anti immigration sentiment]"
#USAmericans stop acting better than everyone and like you are a victim challenge#I literally cannot be French online without being harassed with the we hate French bs and it's tiring#y'all don't know shit shut the fuck up#Y'all eat the anti-France propaganda because of 9/11 up it's incredible#learn to have some responsibility and stop blaming Europe#you're bad because of yourself grow up#btw this feeling do not apply to countries who were colonized europe did and still is making things awful#but the USA are not a colonized country they are colonizers#I'm not making friends with this post but I'm tired of how many USAmericans acting all-mighty and playing victims I have to see on the dail#like they aren't awful to others all the damn time
