Thanks to the current event we've gotten the clearest, cleanest look at Dawnbreaker's lapel pin we've ever seen before and I just-

What the hell is this thing?
Let's discuss below the cut a little, hmm?
I've compared it to several of the similar-ish symbols we've seen in game so far like the aether stone sigil

Which to no one's surprise is the same symbol that is on the floor during your indoor combat trials (that is very hard to photograph btw)

So what or who on earth is Dawnbreaker's lapel symbol for?
It's almost totem like, with its multiple stacking heads and arms and wings, all wanderer shaped in their variations, and this has me wondering if the very symbol of Astra himself isn't something so wandered-coded given the nature of protocres and protocore-radiation having some type of mutation property.
It seems oddly fitting to me that Astra, who I still fully 100% with my full chest believe to have been a human at one point, would have the visage of something twisted and violent but in a terribly powerful from. Even more so if my pet theory about Carter (or anyone at Xander) rings true.
Especially against the juxtaposition of Zayne- a man who cannot be disfigured by the protocore energy because he is An Actual God, remaining himself despite the unknown hundreds of years he spent locked away with the creatio protocore at his side. [Mind you this is all speculation of course. We still don't really know what part of the process of the creation of protocores cause protocore sickness and how far it goes before it starts creating the Abominations that Dawnbreaker sees.]
Overall, I believe that at some point in the future, we're going to learn that Astra is more Wanderer than Man by the point he's a "God". Be it by his own hand or not. The way they've set him up, and the distinction they've set between Zayne's previous Godhood and Astra's Godhood, the storytelling is ruffling my feathers in such a specific way that I'm really getting "Man made Eldritch Horror" vibes.
