hey guys updating this to add more to her lore and also say that hey remember when i said her main two inspirations were audrey redheart and hitori uzune. yeah. well. shoves them over a bit. puts oersted next to them. i havent even really changed anything about her character i just kind of went (oh this guy is. my oc would relate to this guy.) while i was playing lal for the first time. anyway

the main patchnote im adding is Homosexuality. because see. i do really like the direction of "she really is just running from her fear and guilt with no destination in sight" but i also. think thats lame after a while and doesnt give rise to many good plot beats from there. and i also do want to see her be vaguely more mentally healthy. probably not a full redemption arc mind you, but something. anyway i was thinking that she can still run but it'd be fun to have some Other justice-obsessed loser continually tailing her. so she can have a bounty hunter now. i dont have a good name for her so until i do her name is trigger (she is a hare i know that much. heh. hare trigger. thats the joke)

the thing is that?? sera actually. prefers being Hunted To The Death. because. despite the loner in the woods dealie she tries to pull. she is absolutely Not a loner. at all. her whole breakdown was about being cast out for gods sake. so at least this is. Some form of companionship. you need to get better standards. she also prefers it because having someone Else try to punish her for her misdeeds kind of shuts up her own brain punishing her for her misdeeds. cant think about being incredibly self destructive when youre using your brainpower to dodge sharp pointy things shot at your face.

anyway yeah. so trigger is Freakishly determined on killing sera (because she has nothing better to do) and sera enjoys the company because its the closest thing shes got. also sera does like to flirt with her (think the yuuya school of being a flirty little asshole to distract yourself and everyone else from your severe mental issues) because If I Didnt Know Any Better, I'd Say You're Obsessed With Me! and yeah yeah you know the ship trope. trigger just has more of a gay hatecrush panic every showdown and does not really. parse that its gay for Stupid long. meanwhile sera is just flirting with her because she misses having someone to banter with she doesnt actually think shes capable of being loved. this is a mess. anyway the point is that theyve been doing a gay cat and mouse chase for so long at a point that they know each other better than anyone else and it feels wrong to not have one or the other there and maybe neither Wants the chase to end. yknow. the type of characters that due to character differences Wouldnt work together but if they did for a common enemy theyd work so harmoniously because they know each others weaknesses and habits in combat from fighting each other. you know.

(lies down and dies) okay everyone meet drosera shes my best friend she's my little meow meow she has 97 mental illnesses and is not allowed in most public spaces. most of my ocs have accidental character inspirations and at least 2 of them for her are the ones I want to put under a microscope and then into a blender if that's any indication of what she's like. if u can guess them u get a cookie.

anyway her deal is that she's an exile from Whatever Place She Lived In because she decided to do an Itty Bitty vigilante justice murder and was shocked when her town took that badly. (note: she thinks this murder is justified. she is quite possibly fully incorrect and very out of line either way.) being exiled for doing The Right And Just Thing gives her abandonment issues for days and she abandons her whole past identity in an outburst of (I never needed you all if all you ever do is turn your backs on me) and is now plotting to get revenge on her town in order to be an object lesson on what happens when you betray someone you loved. effectively she's putting herself as an example or, failing that, a martyr, but really her worse and worse actions are only caused by denial and her own lost pride. but she does not see that at all because all she sees Herself as is a disgraced hero
