My original thought for Danny was Spiral. Simply because the Ghost Zone is quite literally the embodiment of the Spiral. It has doors! Which Danny is shown using at least once

And the sky is quite literally spiralling around up there

Michael could be so easily misinterpreted as a ghost

Combine with staticky/hard-to-look-at Danny- ohohhehehehe

Combined with SpaceObsession!Danny or even DualObsession!Danny and it's a perfect match

Danny in my specific AU (I should prob come up with a real name shouldn't I? lol) definitely wishes he was Vast-aligned and not Eye-aligned XD

On the topic of Vlad: I have a headcanon that, in an AU where DP and TMA simply co-exist in the same universe, Vlad would definitely be a benefactor of the Institute. Or he'd at least have his sneaky little fingers in their business in some form. I think he'd be kinda of the same stature of Peter Lukas or Simon Fairchild. Though obviously more based in the US. He absolutely has had run-ins with Lukases in some way.

I agree SO MUCH with Web!Vlad. He is a manipulative little snake (much like Elias hehe).

Wait Peter and Elias just have the same physical dynamic as Vlad and Jack fgdhjsafkgdhjka

Vlad probably felt so powerless in the hospital, he'd never want to feel that way again >:}

I'm gonna take a bit of a chance to actually explain my specific AU, too

Toss in a bit of sad lonely really old Immortal!Danny with some Clockwork meddling and you have a powerless, deeply-marked-by-the-Beholding Danny dropped into the middle of London.

(By my logic, Clockwork is kind of the DP-universe equivalent of the Beholding. He Watches over time, after all, "like a parade." He also promised to watch over Danny and get him out of trouble/bring him home if Danny really desperately needs it. So Danny expects to always be being Watched and is mostly comforted by the feeling bc it's (presumably) just good ol' Clocky :>)

Danny, having his luck, was spotted almost immediately by Elias and simply he was too interesting to let go. So, he was hired at the institute starting in Season 1. Shenanigans ensue >:)
