was trying to explain the start of the FF isekai manga to blue and she hits me out of left field with "sounds like dungeon meshi without the cooking" and well i mean she's not entirely wrong

#obviously it's not the same it's just the 'sister gets eaten by a dragon and brother is deadset on resurrecting her' part #btw FF lost stranger is fun i'm thinking of grabbing a couple more volumes at the end of the month #i got the first 2 for the holidays and it's been a fun read so far and i'm curious where they're gonna go with it #there's a lot of references to the games in it mostly xiv since the MC is a xiv nerd #but i really gotta appreciate his character because it reminds me of how my mom and i used to make all our little guides to our games
