apparently i was "literally mutuals" with someone who i never followed and who never (as far as i know) followed me, despite the fact that i reblogged his post from someone else who in turn reblogged it from someone else who in turn reblogged it with someone else. 3+ layers of online interaction away from his blog magically turns into "LITERALLY mutuals" as soon as someone is in the mood to call a tranny a pedophile.

also, dipshit, if he was an 'open' pedophile then why did he have a whole private website to talk about being a pedophile? could it be that he was not in fact 'open' and that you in fact only know about it because people put together a lengthy google doc of screenshots from his private website to out him as a child abuser? (months after i reblogged that post btw). guess i should have used my epic oracle vision to simply see into the future on this one, my bad

the post already had hundreds of notes at least when i saw it, by the way -- that's how it got onto my dash via reblog chain of 3+ users! so it's pretty rich to accuse me of 'boosting' it, and even richer to say 'posts' as though there was more than one!

through an incredible rhetorical technique known as 'lying', miss situation has transformed me reblogging a post on my dash by an OP i didn't know and knew nothing about into me being "literal mutuals" and "boosting [his] posts". this is what transmisogyny looks like lol it is happening in real time, trans women don't matter so you can make up whatever shit you like about them that best suits your narrative.

& you know if 'seeing the posts' is so utterly damning for me, miss situation, you'd think you wouldn't have to make a bunch of shit up! if you're soooo obviously right that any request for nuance is clearly in bad faith, you'd think you would't have to lie about it! but i guess maybe then it would be too obvious that your first reaction to some guy being a pedophile is to look for random trans women to unperson, huh.

I remember you making a post about someone (catradora anti) judging catradora edits and i'd just like to add that this one catradora anti i saw hated that a person made an edit of chappell's "you'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling" to the portal scene because it "twists the song's meaning"...

...Only to put catradora with the same song, but instead to paint the ship in a negative light. They said they understood the actual meaning of the song, and that what they made may not connect with that meaning, but they also just wanted to put catradora to it for reasons i can't remember because i didn't really read the whole thing before blocking. Because, like what? Pretty hypocritical imo (tangent: they had a post about how catra was hypocritical for hating touch from everyone else but always initiating it with adora, which is a whole can of worms that i don't want to address but. anyway, that doesn't twist the meaning of the song at all lmfao. it's quite literally matching the lyrics. catra did, in fact, attempt to stop the world just to stop the feeling.

i discussed before in part of a reblog chain (you'd only have to read my addition rather than the whole long essay. but here's a short summary) how pulling the portal lever was mostly about getting back at shadow weaver, but i never denied that wanting things to be the way they used to be with adora was definitely part of it.

and i know of a few great edits that do a wonderful job of portraying catradora to "good luck, babe!" by chappell roan: notcxtraa | wyldvfx | drewpyfilms

i don't know how someone could make an anti-catradora edit following the narrative of the lyrics closely unless it was actually about glimmadora, an alternative ship you didn't mention, with adora being the person sung about and glimmer being the one singing, as well as "him" representing catra who is a he/him lesbian btw so true tbh.

this is unrelated to your point but since you brought it up, honestly? i kind of have to agree that catra is technically a hypocrite about boundaries related to touch. i don't necessarily think that's a bad thing though, as long as the people she jumps all over are okay with it too, and adora certainly seems to be unless it's by surprise, so they have the situation agreed-upon. it's entirely her valid choice to be comfortable with adora caressing her and standing by her side at a very small distance but not with scorpia hovering right in her face enthusiastically all the time.

you also have to remember that catra grew up by adora's side and was happy to rely on her for support ─ up until adora left and catra realized how much progress she could make without believing she was standing in her way, of course ─ and apparently didn't even know scorpia existed until they were both force captains. also, catra is very demiromantic/sexual-coded, as elaborated upon already, and as someone who also identifies that way myself (green is a great color for my blog theme, as you can tell!), i can't help but relate heavily to the idea of being overwhelmed by someone we just met already pursuing us.

hello! since you're new around here, I thought I'd give you some tips!

1. go to your settings (this is where you'll find your follower count and stuff too) and click on account settings. click on dashboard preferences and turn off the "see the best things first" option for a better dash.

2. now, go back to settings and find "visibility". modify it if you'd like.

3. go back and scroll down a little. you'll see stuff like "allow anonymous asks" and "allow asks with media". for the most tumblr tumblr experience, turn those on.

4. if you're scrolling on your dash and you see something you like, do not like it- or, atleast, don't just like it. reblogs are how we show appreciation and boost posts here.

5. you can search up a tag (#xyz) of literally anything and follow it, and stuff tagged xyz will show up on your dash more.

6. 'moots' or 'mooties' are what people call their mutuals, so, if you follow someone and they follow you back- you're moots.

7. gimmick blogs are blogs that impersonate countries, states, organizations, fast food chains, inanimate objects, basically anything (totally legal btw dw about it) and you could start one if you'd like! literally, just find something that hasn't been taken, or even something that has been taken, and the gimmickverse will welcome you with open arms.

8. literally. do whatever you want. anything goes on this hellsite. talk to people if you'd like to befriend them, post about anything you want to (you could post a 7 paragraph rant about zebras and someone would enjoy reading it), participate in anything you're interested in, have fun! no one is weird here. unless you're a bigot. then you're weird as fuck and need to get the hell out.

hi anon !! Thanks for getting in touch, and for the kind words(◕‿◕✿)

Basically the way I use tumblr is kinda weird. So unlike probably 99.9% of users , I'm never on the dashboard. I usually have a bunch of blogs saved, which I try and scroll through the entirety of. This means that a lot of the posts I'm being exposed to are from early on, and so I find more blogs that maybe stopped posting a while ago, and that just carries on and on until I find niche blogs from years ago that maybe only one person ever reblogged anything from. Sometimes, nobody has even touched the blog.

Now first let me explain how I find these blogs. So as well as never using the dashboard, I also never use any sort of algorithm. Every blog I've ever found (they're probably in the thousands now) I've found by visiting the via and source of a post I found interesting. If there's no via or source and it has barely any notes, I'd check out the blogs in the notes. Now it's tempting to check every blog in the notes, or every blog in the via chain - just in case you don't miss any blog out. But this can be tedious. I suggest sticking to just checking out a couple of different blogs from each cool post you find.

Now, how do I go all the way back through a blog without using tumblr's inbuilt archive feature (because it's horrible)? I use 3rd party tumblr viewers. My favourites are multitab Tumblr for iOS when I'm on the go, and the tumblr collage Google Chrome extension. I use the latter by simply dragging the image to another window, because it hasn't been updated in the best part of a decade and functionality is severely reduced. I then save all the tabs of posts I've dragged across as bookmarks and revisit them after a while to like them all and fast draft from my likes feed view - use xkit chrome extension for the fast draft feature on desktop. But multitab Tumblr on the other hand, that's always getting updates to this day, and has so so so many wonderful features. So you're way better off using that if you're on iOS or MacOS.

Then I like to queue all the posts I've added to drafts from desktop or multitab Tumblr, and set my queue to output a post every 6 minutes. This makes it so 240 posts get outputted every day, only 10 less than the post limit. I also shuffle my queue a lot.
