my favorite thing about the Master Stark AU I'm working on (this includes BtSA) is that Tony's relic is a pair of bright yellow dishwasher gloves, like the ones Stephen has in the comics, but these gloves have incredibly powerful magic, making them sentient and giving them magic repulser-like properties.
so basically Tony's gauntlet watch but the ugliest fucking pair of rubber sink gloves you've seen, and make them magic.
Yellow gloves go boom-boom.
And somehow Tony makes it work. He makes those gloves look sexy. (plus it inspires the Iron Man armor later in the timeline... and yes, magic is imbued with magic. JARVIS loves his sentient gloves). Oh, and the gloves help stabilize his hands because in this AU, Tony builds the Arc Reactor for Stephen when he's injured during a surgery and a few months later, Tony is involved in a lab accident that permanently damaged his hands. Not as much as Stephen did after his accident because May talked him down from making any rash decisions while he's grieving/in pain.
Stephen, once he gets over his Issues at Kamar-Taj and starts training, gets the Cloak of Levitation and I think he also gets the Eye of Agamotto and they end up working together to stop Dormammu.
Stephen's magic is teal with gold undertones, a result of the Reactor interacting with his magic potential.
(also in the Mister Stark AU, the longer you use magic, the more your eye color changes to match your aura. Stephen's aura is gold in this AU and Tony's aura is a bright red, similar to the Iron Man suit that totally wasn't based on his aura because yes but your eyes changing color completely is a process that happens gradually over centuries, so most sorcerers only have light flecks of their aura in their eyes or some kind of heterochromia. I think the Ancient One is the only one to have her eyes match her aura completely)
