skk that got married for a mission (that didn't need them to get legally bound but they did it either way) as teens in the mafia, and now, years later, Chuuya is fed up with Dazai being unsanitary while "temporarily" crashing at his apartment and demands a divorce for an indefinite period of time (aka until they're mushy-hatey with each other again).

Nikolai's the judge, Sigma's the lawyer (aka the guy trying to translate the mushy-hatey language of skk into normal words), and Fyodor's the jury with Bram and Aya. The ADA and PM are the unfortunate, unwilling witnesses to the "horribly domestic lives of Osamu Dazai and Chuuya Nakahara" and has to recount instances of them being a couple.

Ango brings out the actual paperwork for a divorce and skk glare at him like hell hath no fury comparable. Then it's offered they live apart, and both react so dramatically it's like you suggested they rip out their hearts for a day. Dazai even pulls a Victorian-lady faint. Sigma walks out at this point.

In the end, it's settled Dazai sleeps on the couch for a week.

Imagine being roomates with Dazai. You both are students studying at the same school and same class. Him being one of the most popular kid at school and you being someone who nobody looks at. You were pretty sure no one knew that you both were roommates. (Fanfic idea)

Being Dazai's roomate means always have to clean up after him, have long conversation at night when you're supposed to be actually studying for the test next day or going out for walks late at night.

You can't deny the fact that you have feelings for him but what can you do? Confess? Dazai was one of the most popular kid and that means there were 100's of other girls and boys after him. You wouldn't even know who his current lover is since he changes them every other week. He would say that he's only passing his time with these people and there's no one who's actually interesting enough for him. You never really said anything about this since you had no right to meddle between his love life.

Until one day you came home and you saw your roommate looked up inside his room. That was something that never really happened. You waited for him to come out but he didn't. It was now late at night and you were getting really worried so you knocked on his door not really expecting him to open his door.

You heard him unlock the door and just lean forward to hug you. Of course that surprised you but you still hugged him back. Thinking that something serious might've happened you chose to be silent for some minutes and then you helped him get to his bed so you both can sit down. He was still hugging you. You were thinking about everything that might've happened but still were confused about why he was acting like this.

Then you remembered...

There was this girl he told you about. He said that unlike the other girls she chose to ignore him and that piqued his interest. You weren't really paying attention at that time but now you couldn't help but feel something bad bubbling up.

"hey-"

"never thought that this is how it feels to be rejected"

Huh? What? Rejected?

He slumped back into his bed and looked at you. Because of that you were finally able to see his face and the first thing you noticed was how red his eyes were.

He sighed and smiled a little. His gaze was still directed towards you.

You didn't like that gaze. It felt like you were being exposed...like he knew something that you're trying to hide from him.

"Dazai- i really don't know what happened but i can't just let you starve like this, let's go out of this room"

"no i don't want to" he turned to lay down on his stomach and then he turned his head to look at you (not good with positions so hope you understand).

"lay down for some minutes, please?" Sometimes you couldn't really help but agree to whatever this boy tells you to do. You layed down and looked at the ceiling. Yeah there was no way you're going to look at him when he's already looking at you.

"what was her name?" You asked.

" ________" he replied.

Anyone would notice that his voice softened the moment he said that name.

'i should get out of this room right now' you thought. You didn't know how much longer you could hold your own tears. Why did a random girl, that didn't even exist for him a month ago, steal this reaction from him? When you had been beside him for almost 4 years now? Why could he not look at you in a different way? Why couldn't he notice your affection for him? Why is it that when it comes to your feelings he becomes the most oblivious person? just why? every other week he would introduce you to his new lover and that would just leave you sad and jealous.

He cried because one girl rejected him but what about you?

You cried every time he mentioned how fun his date was.

You cried everytime you saw him and his lover do things you wanted to do with him.

You never realised when but thinking about those things made you even more sad and tired than you were before. It must've been the same for Dazai. It didn't take long for both of to doze off and dream about something you wouldn't want the othe to know.

[ this is another ff idea i got while doing my homework. Both of you are in a world where abilities don't exist. Y'all are free to choose the age and school stuff since i really don't know how the JP school system works. I wanted to make Dazai a bit more happier than he already is so maybe y'all can actually give him some real parents that doesn't hate him. I mean he's a top student so of course they wouldn't hate him, pretty sure they wouldn't know about him being a play boy (⁠─⁠.⁠─⁠|⁠|). So that's it i guess, i do have a Ranpo fic idea but i am struggling with the wording so that'll take some time. I really hope that you liked this idea and maybe it was interesting enough to make you imagine the whole story in your head with your own twists and turns :)

Listen guys I know we all like to think of our favorite queer pairings as married, but in Japan gay marriage is unfortunately illegal, now this isn’t some that has to effect your fanfics, but I would actually like if we as a community acknowledged it more. I just think it’s more impactful if the characters had to struggle with the biases of some of the people around them. It would make the characters situation more relatable, and it would also make for interesting plot for the fic, even if it is just a side thing. For some of the ships it might even make for interesting cultural shock, like with Ranpoe, since America does allow gay marriage in most states, while Japan doesn’t it would probably make for a funny interaction. My point is while homophobia and discrimination is unfortunate, it doesn’t mean we have to ignore it in stories, and pretend that it doesn’t exist at all. Idk man I just want some of my fics to be more interesting and this is one way to do it.

Edit: this is not for those who write stories mainly as escapism. If what you want in the story is to play around without the shit called homophobia, then you do you.

Edit: I wanted to say that, this could also very well be used for crack, considering canon BSD, and not an AU where they aren't all criminals. Just imagine, Dazai in a wedding dress, using a machine gun to take down the government officials who won't let him have his wedding with Chuuya (or whoever you ship him with). It also kinda depends on what year it is in Japan

an AU where Dazai is a streamer in Yokohama, and decides to do a bunch of different segments

watch me prank my roommate! — but it's Chuuya and he does that stupid shaving cream in the hand prank, tickles Chuuya's nose while he's asleep and promptly gets punched (chat warned him not to do it)

tries to do a 24 hour stream but like 12 of those hours is him fast asleep on a couch and he's getting donation spammed with text-to-speech telling him to wake up

approaches different people on the street to ask them where they got their shoes and it causes a scene (local police politely tell him to walk away, and chat gets spammed with emotes)

goes to a café and takes all his viewers out on a date, but really he just likes how that particular café does latte art

makes stupid donation and follower goals, like for every 3,000 yen he gets, he'll tell Chuuya a bad pickup line, and at 300k followers he'll take his viewers joyriding on Chuuya's motorcycle (and then chat tells him he's speeding and making illegal turns)

just...Chuuya getting dragged into all this and going along with it because it's how Dazai pays the bills (those pickup lines get so cheesy Chuuya tries REALLY hard not to laugh)

Pt.1

Dazai was confused,

Confused about the woman sitting infront of him. Confused about why did she risk her life to save a random stranger. Most importantly, he was confused about why she seemed so familiar.

He's sure he has seen her before but where? His mind was filled with questions, he was so busy answering his own mind that he didn't even realise he was staring at the woman without saying anything.

His train of thoughts were cut off when he felt her tapping his shoulder. He blinked and payed attention to her words, she told him to rest for some more minutes and went out of the room. Dazai plopped himself on the bed again and looked up at the white ceiling.

Right now he only had one question in his mind.

You were confused,

Your mind was filled with questions, Why did you risk your own life to save a random person? Why did you bring him to your house? Sure he could be someone who's going through some depressing times that led him to commit suicide but what if he's a mad person? What if he hurts you? Your mind was filled with stupid what if's that didn't really made sense.

A couple minutes ago that man woke up from his slumber. You went to him and tried to ask some questions but all he did was stare at you. Thinking that he's still processing what happened, you calmly told him to rest for some more minutes and left the room to prepare some food for him.

This was the first time you saw his face clearly. He was a very attractive and handsome man and if it was any other good looking person you surely would be crushing but this time it was different, looking at his face you felt as if you had met him before.

Right now you only had one question in your mind.

"who is he?"

the fact is that chuuya (and kunikida, and the rest of the cast but also mainly chuuya and kunikida) can just blame it on dazai, because its probably his fault anyways!

sore neck? dazai slept on you in a way that would cause you discomfort on purpose!

bad hair day? dazai poked you in specific spots so that the positions you slept in would result in an unattractive hair shape!

so yes, it really was dazais fault it rained on the day you planned to go out, he projected the weather and made sure your schedule was only free that day!

Concept: After the Guild arc, the news wants to do a live interview with the people directly responsible for stopping the Moby Dick from crashing and saving the city.

AKA. Atsushi and Akutagawa

It takes a bit of deliberation on both parts, but the Agency and Mafia eventually agree, because they feel it will be good PR.

They both get trained, as well as doing some join practices, for how to speak on live tv and not sound like they want to kill each other.

On the actual day of the interview, Atsushi and Akutagawa are there on screen, Dazai and Chuuya are behind the camera to guide their respective orphan's and get them to smile more (or in Akutagawa's case, look a little bit less like he wants to murder the camera), and Mori and Fukuzawa are there as the leaders of the organizations.

So. Three generations of skk under roof while the tv is live? What could possibly go wrong?
