tony, the 2004 civic with the bad alternator from yesterday, is back and better than ever :) he feels a lot better and hes having a good time with his twin today while im at work:

i sadly wasnt able to replace his alternator myself because i needed him back asap to get to work and i wouldnt have been able until this weekend :( but it wasnt super expensive and i really hope i can do things like that in the future! i already do his oil changes and stuff and hes a really good car to learn on because parts are cheap and hes relatively pretty simple.

i also wanted to ask for an id, i saw this little guy at the store today and was curious. thank you!!

Washington approving I-976 is one of the dumbest things we have done in years (decades?) and if it isn’t overturned in the courts it WILL cause a transportation funding crisis. With our investments in light rail and bus rapid transit, things were truly looking up for reducing congestion in Western Washington, and we had done it ourselves without raising taxes on people outside the service area. And it got wiped out in one night, thanks to a dude who stopped stealing chairs from stores long enough to throw together a statewide petition to overrule it. Governor Inslee has already halted any new infrastructure projects and ordered agencies to stop any nonessential spending.

We’ll eventually get the money we need, but we’ll have to do it by raising sales taxes, gas taxes, property taxes, etc, and not before traffic gets much, much worse. None of those mechanisms are as transparent or accountable as our car tab system, which has line-item breakdowns for what your money is going to fund. All hurt working families more than wealthy people on their third luxury car.

And in broader news SUVs are terrible buy a station wagon or a minivan if you really need the space. I want a brz but I don’t have money

Some dude turned the rusty remnants of a classic Jaguar into a fire-spewing drift car. I think that was “Project Purist”. I’m sure you can find it. That aside, Bree’s truck wrap got moderated and removed, so I redid it, but I’m not sure if it has the same charm as it did the first time. Ah well. All these cars are a bit unfinished to me, but this is what I got so far. I also have been increasing the performance on the MX-5 and now it can take on supercars (statistically speaking, except for the overpowered Regera, those aren’t fair). As for whether or not Aura can actually use this thing, should she come up a bit short, I stashed some brooms, small and big boxes, and rope in the trunk so that she can just pull a Short Round and use her imagination to reach the pedals. Just don’t tell Bree about that. I think she’d pummel me over that. You know what, Imma just take my virtual BRZ for a long drive. I won’t be around for awhile. Heh (._.") L8r! *speeds away*

It is with tears, sorrow and a heavy heart that I share the loss of a fan and friend of the Nozarashi Racing Team. @jack_chow86 wrote me a year ago while fighting ruthlessly against cancer, and inspired me to no end. Despite my hardships of chasing my dreams, he showed me how much of an impact I had on others, and how I inspired them. It gave me a sense of purpose and a higher calling, to not want to let those like him down, those who are suffering and fighting, trying to heal and grow. The fact that I was able to contribute to his life, to give him something to look forward to, was immeasurable to me… Ivan, you were an amazing man: an amazing father, an amazing friend, and a wonderful 86 owner. I will miss our talks, and I will miss your soul. Rest in peace, and know I’ll carry on to inspire others fighting hard like you did… If nothing else, I’m glad you got to see the new project car before officially announced, and didn’t leave you wondering.
