Fun Facts:

• Branch starts gaining his true colors (well what’s close to it anyways) again after seeing Synth again.

•The crown(?) Synth’s wearing Branch’s gem from the gem day episode

•They both are starting to have gray hairs because they’re old (mid 40’s if we go by the actual EPIC/Odyssey)

•Synth’s tech lines on his cheek aren’t complete since he still waiting for his husband and won’t complete it until he meets him here or in the afterlife.

•Oh.. and Creek’s there (ew)

Branch gaining his true colors just from seeing Synth alone is just. Chef's kiss.

Synth wearing Branch's Troll Gem is so beautiful omg. The literal material representation of all of Branch's joy is on Synth's head. Because who else would Branch entrust that too? Maybe he gave it to him right away or he gave it to Synth before he left, because he wanted Synth to have a part of him.

The way everyone else is blurred because they literally Don't Matter. Branch doesn't even register them as people. Only Synth Matters to him and likewise only Branch matters to Synth.

Branch being the one more openly crying while Synth is being reserved, which is the opposite of their normal dynamic....

Synth learned to be cunning from Branch. It's thanks to watching Branch that he came up with unraveling the shroud and the challenge only Branch could complete.

Keith is technically their adopted son but he takes after Branch a lot. He loves his mother (Synth) a lot and wants to protect her more than anything.

Keith was completely down with the murder of the 108 suitors. Like he was so on board.

Peppy is Zeus. I know Barb calls Zeus 'father' in a song so it SHOULD be Thrash but consider this: the thought of Thrash being mean to Branch hurts my feelings :(

Hermes is Dante.

Ares is Smidge, Aphrodite is Satin and Chenille. Yes, both of them.

Hephaestus is Thrash.

Apollo is Guy Diamond.

Aeolus I haven't decided on.

Hera is Delta Dawn.

I love the way Synth is holding his crown in his hands. Like a part of him hates it, hates that he has to be the queen because he can't even miss his husband in peace, he has to deal with the suitors. If he wasn't queen, he wouldn't have this burden on him. But he's still holding onto the crown carefully because it has Branch's Troll gem in it. His husband gave him that as a symbol of his love, just like he carved their bed for him.

You are singlehandedly feeding me for this AU. If I close my eyes I can see Synth yelling at Branch "Don't tell me you're not the same person, you're always my husband and I've been waiting" in your art style. There's tears and Synth is beautiful.
