this whole saga reminds me of what I had on my mind few months back. I use to be a fan of 2face. in fact he is the best Artiste Nigeria has ever offered, my reasons because of the content of his song. the positivity in it is sooo much. I use to think he's the JESUS in that industry "because of the way he preaches about LOVE (the same way Jesus asked us to love )". then, if you say to me that 2face committed anything I will say "nah lie, 2face no fit do am" sometimes I will reply " he dey right " even if he's wrong. if the accusations comes with evidence, I will reply "you know we're all human and at the same time not perfect"
I've forgotten what he did last that I drew the line, I said to myself will you continue fooling yourself because you love his song. This is also applied to Brymo, I use to love his song when I was young but should I dislike them because of his recent attitude ?, Nooo. *"There are more to your FAVORITES, than you know"* .So it's better to love their work rather than loving something you knew nothing about.
you can also apply this in your lifestyle, rather than saying "I love Favour" (someone you just met) you should say "I love the way she smiles"...
Sometimes, when I get off call with some female friend. with all the smiles in my face, I'll make sure I say this, "she is just a good conversation starter, I'm not in love "😂🤦
