thinking once again about bryces rnd (explained more here) and jensen was absolutely the one to make the diagnosis. i think once bryce was pushing into the last stretch of his residency was when he was having bad flare ups. jensen and his workaholic ass self was like oh so im going to solve this. give me a minute or two. bryce was insistent that it was unnecessary and it just happened sometimes but ofc jensens standing there like yeah but that's Not Normal. So.

he interrogated the fuck out of bryce for like 3 days straight. if there was a lull in the convo he Would be getting asked questions. jensen was trying to be casual but was immediately going to write everything down the second bryce was done answering

he finally figured it out after about a week or so (he was working on it outside of work, but did get some input from the rest of the dt) and gave bryce the option of telling him or not telling him (since he was pretty adamant that jensen didn't need to). he thought over it and decided he'd like to know (to which jensen was all technically i can't say for sure bc yk we didn't do anything official and blah blah blah. but bryce knows if anyone is going to make a diagnosis w no tests or anything its going to be jensen. so.) and on one hand it was anticlimactic bc there is no cure. managing symptoms is really difficult too bc there's no Actual injury. but on the other hand it was,, comforting? convenient? it was hard for him to decide but overall it was nice to know more about it and actually be able to look into it further
