i made a playlist based off the kid from blood meridian

the total vibes i was going for was cowboy nihilism mixed with teenage angst with spritz of stolen childhood. some of the songs on here might be out there (only a lad☠️) but thats spotify playlists for ya + i thought they fit his character or how i view his character so ye,

#the kid is so tragic to me because he essentially spends his entire childhood experiencing nothing but neglect and trauma #only for the horrible environment he was previously in to abruptly come to an end with all the people he knew dying and him being left alon #as the only survivor of what went on and he has to sit and stew in that epiphany for the rest of his life only for it all to be cut short s #brutally and unceremoniously almost as if none of it had ever mattered even tho it affected him so deeply #sure he had toadvine and tobin looking out for him but for every good moment with them he has theres like a plethora of horrific moments #that he likely witnessed or was even subjected to #it genuinely eats me up inside knowing how many times he couldve died and how its an actual miracle he got away when he did and how much #turmoil he experienced in the environment he was in and how young he was through all of it #idk yall sumn bout this neglected malnourished traumatized numb kid gunslinger outlaw gets me emotional #blood meridian #blood meridian or the evening redness in the west #the evening redness in the west #blood meridian the kid #the kid blood meridian #bon's art #bon's yap sesh #Spotify #he basically never got to experience a good childhood and had all scraps of innocence stolen cant make this shit up man
