Today’s class allowed us to show how to use the playing card in 3 vowed to help the students gain a clearer understanding of how to set the card up for easier muscular movement. What an EXCELLENT first day of teaching. I cannot thank my students enough for this. Teaching the Brush Spencerian was a so fun. Thank you @briang.walkercalligrapher for always being with me when I talk about this script. The multiple perspectives are really quite something to see and all the students said how it made the learning experience more all round, professional and accessible. Cannot wait to apply it to the other classes and redo some of the ones we did earlier in the year! Last night in Kazarma Restaurant I did what I do for them every time we visit as a gesture to say thank you because the food is insane but the owner and the team are so special. Whilst writing and seeing how many people around it inspired, generated conversations and connections, it made me realise my choice to teach scripts you can use on the go was a great idea. Come learn Brush Spencerian with us this month and give yourself the ability to share the joy of our calling and bring light into someone’s life. I ended up writing for 9 other people in the restaurant but the one for Maria nearly made me cry. This beautiful soul in her 80’s touched me so profoundly. I feel so blessed. This is a 2day event!
