The fight over releasing President Trump’s tax returns will likely end up in court. The chair of the House Ways and Means Committee formally asked the IRS for Trump’s tax returns last week. Although the law has existed for almost 100 years, this is the first time it has been enacted, and there is no precedent for what will happen next. Eerie footage shows Billionaires Row and its desolate mansions
Eerie footage shows north London’s Billionaires’ Row and its desolate mansions with empty swimming pools, fern covered staircases and rotting decor from the 1980s
Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, North London, has mansions worth millions but many have been occupied

Drained whirlpools, decaying walls and foliage creeping up the stairs can be seen on a North London street called Billionaires’ Row.
Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, north London, is one of the most exclusive roads in the country, but many of its 66 mansions lie vacant.
Footage taken by ‘urban explorers’ shows moss growing up the once pristine white walls of the huge rooms and swimming pools with a shallow layer of murky water.
youtube
This swimming pool is filled with a murky layer of water, most probably the result of rain water seeping through the roof of this home on Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, north London
Leaves densely cover the mansion’s garden and a bush grows wildly around a conservatory of the home on Bishops Avenue, Hampstead, north London
An empty, mouldy swimming pool at one of the mansion’s, with water marks covering the walls and wooden planks propped on the side
The golden-painted bars of the stairs are betrayed by the crumbling walls and plaster spilling down to the hallway, as well as a broken door hanging from its hinges
The gardens rise high and in many the decor is clearly a few decades behind.
They include a selection of residences worth £73 million, reportedly bought for the Saudi royals between 1989 and 1993.
In those days the homes caught be purchased for a cool million, now prices rise to around £20 million.
In 2014, an estimated £350 million worth of mansions could be found on the prestigious street, the Guardian reported.
An Iranian resident told the paper: ‘Ninety-five percent of the people who live here don’t actually live here. It is a terrible place to live really.
‘It is very boring and the road is very busy. I don’t think many people want to live in such big houses anyway.’
Ferns spew from the sides of the stairs in this wreckage of a home – the ceiling has come away and water has caused extensive damage to the walls
The exterior of the home, with red brick and white painted columns and window frames, looks grand but the garden is in a sorry state
A large hot pool in the massive spa level of this mansion is empty and filled with nothing but dirt, while the walls have fallen prey to vandals
A hot tub is filled with rubbish – perhaps never filled with water as many of the properties have been empty since they were acquired in the late 1980s
The grand reception area of one of the mansions is filled with broken pieces of plaster and its stained glass windows are covered in grime
In addition to those left to decay, the paper reported that many were only occupied for short periods during the year.
Furthermore, many were reportedly registered to countries like the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and Panama – tax havens which meant their owners could remains anonymous.
Notable residents of Bishops Avenue have inlcuded the Sultan of Brunei, Heather Mills, Sir Billy Butlin and Justin Bieber rented a place in 2016 for £108,000 a month, the Sun claimed.
