AU: Dreamworld Entertainment was literally just a dream.

A mother is woken up in the dead of night by one of her children. Her youngest of three triplets is standing at the side of her bed in tears. The mother asks what's wrong, and her child says he had a nightmare, a horrible, horrible nightmare. The mother comforts her son and walks him back to his bed, and waits until the child is asleep to return to her rest.

This process repeated two other times that night with her two other sons, the same nightmare, the same fear, the same realization that they woke up from Dreamworld.

#welcome to dreamworld #wtdw au #wtdw the triplets #wtdw mimic #wtdw Masquerade #wtdw melody #For context this is set in the au right after Mimic wakes up from Dreamworld and falls back on seeking his mother for comfort #Then the other two do the same when they wake up #the facility of dreamworld entertainment doesn't exist here #nether does Litho or Watchful eye toys #and nearly all of the robot possession and murder stuff #except for the three kids that died when Sara was a small child (but instead of Sara killing them it was from the fire started and Sara sur #And maybe Damien's ghost eye #But in this AU the founder trio instead of making the facility #brought the old nickel-per-play arcade back under the name of “DreamGames”#with some small animatronics with prerecorded lines (some speculate that there was originally a large pegasus robot that went missing).#Also Winnie's in this #and the phone call stuff went like this #Sara:“Who is this? What do you want?”#Winnie:“I can tell you how to create immortality”#Sara:“I don't believe you. Scammer.”#Then Sara hung up the phone and five days later the pegasus robot disappeared #Until it was found behind the arcade and quickly deactivated and dismantled on the founders agreeing that the robot was shady as hell #(Also Wiatt's here and is recording the arcade's progress when he isn't working as a technician on the arcade machines.#Norman is also here as the marketing guy who occasionally takes his snake into the arcade when he visits.)#Basically a nothing bad happened AU but with a little changes to the story and everyone dreamed of the actual story.#Also the founders have a much stronger friendship due to Sara not giving two iodas of a shit to Winnies offer and hanging up the call #(Maybe Damian comes in after hearing about the Winnie incident and returns after the Dreamworld dream)
