Growing up in rural Alaska, Kenai was taught from a young age to respect wildlife

As a teenager, he tested the limits and picked a fight with a bear to try and prove his strength, which he only survived due to heroic intervention by his brother

Unfortunately, however, Kenai’s brother didn’t make it.

When Kenai took his revenge, he was punished by a curse that turns him into a bear at nightfall...

...Which is basically all the time in the Alaskan polar winter

He’s fled to Swynlake to search for a reverse to the spell
