Brooke Winter is a licensed acupuncturist and educator who completed 17 years of private practice experience at Circle Healthcare Clinic in Portland, Oregon. A graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Brooke has also taught Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to this, she worked as a research engineer at Hewlett-Packard. An avid mountaineer, Winter has summited several Cascade mountains including Rainer, Shasta, and Hood.

A passionate educator, Brooke Winter has dedicated over a decade to teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was an Associate Professor at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and served on the faculty at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she taught core courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Additionally, she has trained acupuncturists nationally in the Clean Needle Technique for the NCCAOM. She is an accomplished mountaineer and has scaled Cascades including Hood, Shasta, Rainer, and others.

With a foundation in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, Brooke Winter transitioned from an engineer at Hewlett-Packard to a successful career as an acupuncturist and educator. After completing her studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, she taught courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Clean Needle Technique while also maintaining a private practice at Circle Healthcare Clinic for nearly two decades. Winter enjoys hiking and backpacking and is an experienced snowshoer.
