SENT BY @b4rredteeth ( Pesor )…
an uncanny farmhouse with a ‘ ROOM FOR RENT ’ sign
“LISTEN—— I know you’re probs looking to upgrade your living conditions, but this is too creepy… even for me and I slept in the clown tent for two weeks when my apartment flooded”, Bronx commented while leaning to the side to almost whisper the words, afraid that someone or something might be listening.
To be honest, he didn’t even know if that was the reason they were visiting this place, but a joke here and there seemed better that to admit plain fright at the sight of what could potentially be a murder house. “Could’ve found ya a place at the apartments y’know?”, he continued with a little chuckle, but even against all voices in his head, he took a couple of steps forward.
“Well, let’s get going then, it’s never too early to get butchered to pieces by a crazy man with a pig head as mask. Let’s take a look around at least”.

"Uhm... why am I choosing? I don't know either of them well either... so I wouldn't really know. To be honest."

"Yeah, but cows don't eat people", Bronx commented while moving some of the rubbish aside with his feet because he was definitely not touching anything with his hands. "Yeah, you probably would need one. Maybe you could try restoring one from the junk yard, I got my car from them and hey, it's old and noisy, but takes me around", he explained. Bronx spotted what should be the back door of the building and while his gut advised him not to continue, he very much ignored the feeling and placed his fingers around the handle. "Too much work for me, I'm more of a city person, but I don't know, maybe when I'm old and have nothing better to do I would get myself a farm...", he pushed the door open, a horrible but well-known stench hit his nostrils, "...just not this farm". He brought a hand up to cover his nose, the smell already twisting his intestines fast. "Pesor... I don't think the owner is getting back to you anytime soon". Amidst the dark of the old cabin, there was an arm hanging down from a couch, said seat in front of a tv and shielding them from a grotesque scene with its rear view. This was certainly some way to start the Spring.
“No cows either,” Pesor said, looking around, seeing very little. They’d never had good night-vision. They followed, trying to get their phone light to work, which always acted up. It was a dead-beat thing anyway, their mom always got them the cheapest ones. “Hmmm, I don’t know. Maybe… though I’d probably need a car or something to get back to the city. Would you?”

"Well, for being a farm, it seems pretty death. The lack of pigs is a good sign to me, though", he chuckled before he tried one last time to squint through the dusty windows to no avail. Bronx started to head to the backyard that was full of junk: an old rusty tractor, some worn out farm tools, overgrown dry plants and some other things that one would usually find at a place like this. "So... in the hypothetical situation that this place was completely abandoned... how do you feel about moving into a whole farm on your own?"
“The bulletin board… I think that’s how you call it. It was on the map, so someone paid to have it on there,” they said. Pesor shrugged. They’d slept and stayed in worse places, after all, they’d been all over, and their mother rarely wanted to pay the full price. It was also a great place to stay off the grid, usually. While they were easily afraid, these kind of places didn’t do much. Pesor walked around too, trying to figure out where they could get in. The place looked like nobody was home, so maybe they went out of business, it wasn’t so nice though that they hadn’t taken down the advertisement. “Good idea, though I do think they’re closed.”

Pesor was carrying their regular stuff, a backpack filled to the brim with clothes and toiletries, a small very old iPad, and a book. "Too late now, I think," Pesor said, biting their lip as they followed Bronx, happy the other was taking the first action. "Maybe it just looks like this because they forgot to take down halloween decorations?" They asked, looking around, hugging the slings of their backpack to their chest. "Reminds me a bit of American Psycho," they said.
