Decided to draw my favorite Warriors character for every letter of the alphabet (excluding U and X since they don't exist lol!)

I is for Ivypool! The best of the sisters! The most relatable for me 100%! I completely understand the feeling of being in a more skilled sibling's shadow and the jealousy that comes with it. But she managed to push her jealousy away to become the greatest spy the clans have known! I still headcanon her to be the true 4th. I'm my headcanon, she had the power of persuasion. That's how she got most of the dark forest trainees to come back and fight. And MUCH later on we get my absolute most favorite pair with her and Fernsong. Their friendship was so wholesome and led to the most wholesome pair of mates, I swear! And she didn't let being a queen stop her from going out and doing things theme to him. UHG! SO GOOD! And after the loss of Bristlefrost... I won't go into Ivypool's Heart spoilers but, GO READ IT DANG IT! The grief and the anger she has is so real! I love seeing Warriors tackling and actually doing well with mental health... FINALLY! And yes, I'm EXTREMELY happy that she's deputy. She more than earned that promotion!

Suddenly, images streamed through his mind—of Bristlefrost leaning against him beneath a willow tree, running beside him through the forest, curled with him in a nest with three tiny kits, two pale gray like her, one yellow and white. It was as though the earth held memories of what should have been as well as what was. Or perhaps it was simply showing him what he’d hoped for with all his heart."

The ending of Broken Code was so heartbreaking. I cried a lot, so decided to draw something for it.

Broken Code - Jeff Horwitz (2023)

As Ed Zitron said in a recent interview with Adam Conover, there is no way to come out of reading Broken Code without believing that the executives that work at Meta are evil. I don't really believe in evil people, only evil acts, mostly because I think labeling people as evil others them and blinds us to the possibility of becoming like them, both due to individual choices and cultural pressures. This book shows the relentless internal and external pressures placed on the Meta employees to conform to a profit-oriented status quo and the largely fruitless efforts of some to resist. Time and time again, Meta executives water down and stop plans to make their platforms safer and more enjoyable for users in pursuit of growth, which is just another word for profit though they like to pretend it's less earthly than that. Even the executives who are occasionally on the side of morality, most notably Chris Cox, ultimately fail to stand up to Zuckerberg and Sandberg when it counts. The company, on Zuckerberg's behalf, has argued in the past that its executives simply don't know about the immoral and exploitative behavior occurring on their platforms until it is too late. But what Broken Code shows is that this ignorance is constructed intentionally in order to shield the company and its executives from liability. None of the big picture stuff is that surprising: of course a Big Tech company plays both sides in order to get as much money and as little restriction as possible, of course a Big Tech company cares little for the way it affects non-Western countries. But Horwitz's book shines an in-depth look into the dynamics of the company and its employees and the specific, alarming ways it discards our collective well-being for the sake of power.

Would I want a physical copy of this book? I already own one, and i don't regret it at all.

J is for Juniperclaw! Don't get me wrong. I wasn't really a huge fan of him when he was alive. Poisoning Skyclan was an awful move. But I also kinda see where he was coming from, trying to protect his own clan in the wrong way. And he certainly made up for it when rescuing Shadowkit. So.... WHAT THE HECK ERINS! WHY DID HE GET CAT HELL?! He realized what he did was wrong before death. And the best we get is Starclan shrugging and saying, "Yeah, we make mistakes like with Ashfur, and you helped us. But you can't come here. The best we can do is guard duty, which comes with permanent isolation!" COME OOOON! Mudclaw (rightfully) got into Starclan because he thought his fight for leadership was right for Windclan, and that could have cost just as many lives! Skystar didn't deserve it and still got in! Why doesn't Juniperclaw get the same treatment?! JUSTICE FOR JUNIPERCLAW!
