That but when kazuha flew the country and reader was about to be captured a blue haired commissioner just so happened to find a contract between the former head of the kaedehara clan and his dad abt him and mc being bethrothed

But none of the clans never actually signed it and out of goodwill he copied both his dad and mc's dad signatures and when the shogunate went to take the reader he showed the papers to shogun and she put the mc under house arrest instead of killing her

So when lil bro kazuha comes back and sees ayaka/ayato/thoma instead of big sis waiting for him, hes like: don't tell me you have bad news

And then theyr like: yes and no

And bring him back to kamisato estate(where reader is under house arrest) and mc explains everything to him.

to put ayaka into the mix aswell: now from outside ayaka and kazuha situation will look like: oh yeah we are getting along as in law's(?)

But from the inside its more like

Kazu: im thankful and all but get ur brother away from my onee-chan

Ayaka: my brother likes ur sis let them get tgtr
