realized i havent answered this lol anyway, update: good news: i finished the first draft of the entire fic. it's 22k+ words and i'm satisfied with the story and ending. i got feedback on the draft and they said it was a rlly good read and they literally cried twice!! neutral news: i won't be posting it in parts but instead, just one long oneshot since i feel like its easier to appreciate the story in one read. i think thats a good thing but idk what ppl feel about long oneshots kinda bad news: cant post it tonight because unlike my other works, this is one long fic so i cant just post it without proofreading. i need to proofread at least once to make sure it isn't completely riddled with inconsistencies and spelling errors BUT trust i'll have it before this week ends <3 though, too many of u guys liked my tag post which means i cant physically tag all of u on the fic itself so i hope u all just stay tuned for updates <3

i need to know what happened to my poor Patri in your recent fic 😭😭😭

In my mind, right before football season and a little bit after you've left Barcelona, Patri and Alexia will find themselves hanging out with the other Barça girls. It would be evident to Alexia that Patri is going through something (which she knows that it is partly her fault) and she'd pull Patri aside to talk.

I haven't thought much about how that would play out but I trust Alexia would be able to explain to Patri the situation without any animosity between them lingering, and without implicating you or making you look bad. I'm sure it would affect their relationship a bit for a while but they've known and worked with each other for so long that they'd move past it.

Ultimately, Patri will have to go through her own healing process (and hopefully, it wouldn't be that angsty for her).

I love how you write, but I’m also obsessed with how you styled your fanfic! How do you do the gradient text and dividers?

hi anon! thank you! i answered the question on gradients before but i dont think i ever linked the website. so i'll give a guide (of stuff i basically just learned from other tumblr accounts):

Gradient text: I use this website and copy the html onto the fanfic! I usually play around with multiple colors until I'm satisfied

Gradient divider: You can use Photoshop OR this free alternative on the internet haha! I make the width 520 px and height 5px. I use the same hex code I used for the gradient text. Idk how to do a gradient on photopea so what I do instead is I just paint half one color and paint the other half with the other and use gaussian blur. Works like a charm!

Other dividers: I also use free dividers on tumblr and pinterest. I just google "dividers" or "pink dividers" haha. There are a lot of people who like to make them so you'll have a lot to choose from

I have a slight aversion to fluff things, I don't know how it normally feels so forced. (or maybe I'm just a heartless creature for things like that🤔) But I really liked the fluff parts of healing process, the domesticity felt natural and warmed my heart, so I'd support a fluff story. (It would be a nice breath of fresh air for us poor readers from the your angst😂)

tbh i think i also liked writing the initial fluff parts of healing process because i didnt even realize that it was fluff until i was already writing the angst part 😭 but yeah i feel like writing fluff comes so difficult to me because i rlly dont want it to be forced or contrived. i just want it to seem natural but still elicit that warm feeling! but yeah haha lets see if i'm capable of writing fluff that doesnt turn into angst

God you are so cute! 🤗 I love seeing such good writers happy. English isn't my native language so it's usually so difficult to capture emotion in fics, but you did it. And if you keep writing anguish and those half-open endings, you will definitely never disappoint me! ❤

Never really thought about my blog being 18+ tbh. I will post fics that are strictly minors dni and 18+ and I retweet fics that are 18+ which are also clearly marked or tagged as minors dni or nsfw

but I think considering I have fics that are sfw... i think it would be unfair to bar minors from reading / accessing those? idk honestly haha! i just trust everyone's discretion to not read the fics that are 18+ if they are a minor!

My theory is that they end up together! I think when they met, they were still not over their own exes or they still weren't ready for a relationship. (Reader was immature at times with the way she wanted Alexia to commit immediately and Alexia was commitmentphobic.) But since they completed their own healing process (title reference ahaha), it means they will be ready for each other

yeah i think alexia and hp!reader had a really cute dynamic too! i think to most ppl, they'd interpret the ending as them being end game. (would like to hear people's theories as to why they think they'd end up together or why they DIDNT end up together)
