More Laborn siblings thoughts but something I want to look for when I finally have time to reread all of worm is if Brian ever verbally gets mad at Aisha over anything actually important.

It's a bit hard to tell because worm is mostly Taylor's point of view but it is really interesting the way Aisha has internalized guilt and shame over Leading Brian to trigger, Brian having to take care of her, or him getting hurt to save her but also at the same time says that it would also be unfair to stick a hypothetical third Laborn siblings with Brian because he's kind of a dick who doesn't let anyone have any fun. Because we definitely see him on screen in worm nagging her about having too much fun and being a menace but I don't think he ever actually gets on her case about putting herself, him, or the other Undersiders in mortal danger.

Like I think half the reason Aisha gets so bitchy in response to Brian's nagging is not just because it's stupid but because he refuses to nag her about anything NOT stupid. And of course we know why he doesn't want to, a simultaneous "genuinely doesn't want her to feel bad for these things" and also he has a "if I get mad about things that are important to me I may lose control of my emotions and hurt someone so I must never discuss my real feelings about anything to anyone" complex. But like imagine Aishas point of view of the Bonesaw incident. You go after Americas most dangerous serial killer team alone, get kidnapped, and your brother tries to save you only to get tortured SO badly. And then the next day he refuses to talk about the torture or kidnapping but is really bitchy about how much noise you're making at 7 in the morning which is to early to be making that much noise Aisha.

I think it's pretty clear that Lily and Sabah are among the core members of the Undersiders, unlike Taylor who barely– *gets swarmed by 20,000 bees*

Honestly Jessie being transgender should’ve been obvious from the start simply on the grounds that a male non-protagonist in the main cast that wildbow actually cares about and doesn't immediately kill off for boring him is a proposition ridiculous in of itself
