Largest set i ever worked on in two days -id say about 100 cards... and i was also one of the select artists to work 5x7 size cards for #SDCC release that year. Fun stuff. Things are a bit DEAD around here- "Deadworld" sketchcards approved!

I've been working on a few new sketchcard projects for Breygent Marketing.

You've seen some of my Transformers cards, now I get to share my "Deadworld" cards with you!

I did 25 full color sketchcards for this set, and will have 5 artist returns/proofs available for sale one the set goes on sale in stores this October. I'll post pics of my returns later, as well as the rest of my Transformers cards and some Z-cards I'm working on next for Breygent.

It was a lot of fun to take a break from Star Wars and draw zombies. I'm a big horror and zombie fan, but other than some stuff I've done for the haunt or a few Scared Silly toons, this was my first zombie art gig.

Hope you "dig" them!

Star Wars Galactic Files Sketchcards- Final Approvals and Artist Returns!

Hey, gang-

Well, I finally got all of my Topps Star Wars Galactic Files sketchcards finished and shipped back off to Topps. (Does happy dance!)

1 did 109 total- 100 sketchcards to go into card packs from Topps, and 9 artist returns that I'll be selling on my site once they are, well- "returned" to me from Topps after final approvals.

Nicki and I picked these cards to be my artist returns. Even though I had 9 instead of 6 this time (got 3 extra for doing them all in color) it was still hard picking only 9 out of 109. I should have my artist returns back about a couple weeks after the cards go on sale in stores.

One that didn't make the returns cut but that I really liked was this card 0f Momaw Nadon, or "Hammerhead" as I knew him growing up. He was always one of my favorite cantina aliens from the first Star Wars movie, and one of the first Star Wars action figures I ever got as a kid. Some lucky fans will have the chance to find this sketchcard in a pack of trading cards this fall!
