What made you decide on your URL name?

the first character i played (breviloquentbauhinia) started with a url style  “two words which alliterate, and also contain an obscure word of some kind.” 

originally, sea’s url didn’t follow this style, but after a month or so i wanted to change it to match!  

i encountered the word Paralian (meaning, someone who lives by the sea) and was like.  well.  fate just wanted me to know this word.  and sealand is a principality, so that was Obvious.  and ive never changed it since because i love it so much

and now vik’s (viralvarsting) uses this format too

so in one of my chengyu books from long ago there's this one called 螢雪之功 (lit. 'accomplishments of fireflies and snow.') there's another idiom, 車胤囊螢, which is more specific to this story, but it didn't appear in my book so anyway.

one of the stories the idiom alludes to is about a studious kid named che yin who was poor and couldn't afford to buy oil for his lamp. one day, when he was trying to study at night - and failing because it was so dark - he noticed a swarm of fireflies outside. seeing them, he suddenly had an idea - he went and got some thin cloth (which i guess was significantly cheaper than oil) and bagged the fireflies, resulting in a lamp he could study with. and then, because he studied so much, he was able to pass his exams and became an important official later on. yes it's supposed to be very inspirational.

ANYWAY the idiom is basically used to describe how people can overcome difficult situations with creativity and like. fireflies = glowing and i guess this was the next step in my thought process?? yEAH 

i just rly love that headcanon ok.

Yeah but what if Hong Kong and Iceland started an "Overprotective Brothers" Circle, just for kicks, bamboozles Canada and America to join in and the four of them have insane adventures. But when their little circle goes on a fieldtrip, guess who decides to tag along? Yeah, overprotective bros, France definitely set the four of them to look like models which made them stand out and because Norway's, England's, China's and his brother was the most perfect creature in existence -- for them.

And like the four are so fucking embarrassed. The four brothers made the Brother 4 Federation and they have shrines for their little brothers. I am sobbing so hard, because why can I see this happening?

Hong Kong was a large place. And although it was just as lively as Reyjavik at night, he still was surprised by the number of people roaming and buzzing around the streets like bees. Besides, he was starting to get tired from going around the city the whole day. Sight-seeing without a proper escort in a foreign, urbanized land was certainly not one of his wisest decisions. He stopped and placed himself in a narrow opening between two buildings as to not block the incoming traffic of people while he figured out what he should do.
