The thing with Hob is Brennan is trying to play a somewhat blunt and politically, like, awkward character but he's brenann lee mulligan and you unleashed him in a fucking, regency scheming shit, that's like a shark in bloody water.

Which is WHY the moments where he makes the Wrong But In-Character choice On Purpose - which by the way are ALWAYS one of my favorite things in DND, both to watch and to do myself - it hits so much harder.
