it's nice to be able to share memories, crack absolutely awful jokes, and mess around with them, just like how we used to back then
I know they check your blog often [we all really love your blog, by the way!] so yeah, I appreciate you lot of incredible fuckin bastards /aff

breakthrough opinions means you know who's coming up...mack hans time
Holy Mackerel Hans, Mack and Cheese Hans. We love him. Anyone who doesn't love him I'm genuinely interested in knowing why.
I feel bad for him :( His decisions he made for himself and also his lore, man Breakthrough overall is just depressing alskjdnldkfb I really want to just give him a hug, and a comfy blanket and a sweet little treat, bro has been through it he DESERVES a hug and a comfy blanket and a sweet little treat.
His sound is depressing too :( It just gives that vibe of "I'm sad bc of choices I've made and I'm not a big fan of me." Again though, it is perfect for Breakthough.
Him and Tab are lowkey a wholesome couple and I wish they didn't have to have that ending ;;
(You are never gonna guess whose design for him and the ship art of him and Tab I am obsessed with. I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with box guy blazey.)

PAUL KLEE
On this day of 18th December Paul Klee (18 December 1879 – 29 June 1940) was born in Münchenbuchsee, Switzerland.
His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually deeply explored color theory, writing about it extensively; his lectures Writings on Form and Design Theory (Schriften zur Form und Gestaltungslehre), published in English as the Paul Klee Notebooks, are held to be as important for modern art as Leonardo da Vinci's A Treatise on Painting for the Renaissance. He and his colleague, Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, both taught at the Bauhaus school of art, design, and architecture in Germany. His works reflect his dry humor and his sometimes childlike perspective, his personal moods and beliefs, and his musicality.
In his early years, following his parents' wishes, Klee focused on becoming a musician; but he decided on the visual arts during his teen years, partly out of rebellion and partly because modern music lacked meaning for him. At sixteen, Klee's landscape drawings already show considerable skill.
With his parents' reluctant permission, Klee began studying art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Heinrich Knirr and Franz von Stuck. He excelled at drawing but seemed to lack any natural color sense.
Klee’s early inclination towards the absurd and the sarcastic was well received by Kubin, who befriended Klee and became one of his first significant collectors.
In the second Blaue Reiter exhibition, in the Galerie Goltz, 17 of his graphic works were shown.
His travels to Paris in 1912 also exposed him to the ferment of Cubism and the pioneering examples of "pure painting", an early term for abstract art. The use of bold color by Robert Delaunay and Maurice de Vlaminck also inspired him. Klee began working out his own color experiments in pale watercolors and did some primitive landscapes, including In the Quarry and Houses near the Gravel Pit.
Klee's artistic breakthrough came in 1914 when he briefly visited Tunisia with August Macke and Louis Moilliet and was impressed by the quality of the light there. After returning home, Klee painted his first pure abstract, In the Style of Kairouan, composed of colored rectangles and a few circles.
In 1919, Klee applied for a teaching post at the Academy of Art in Stuttgart. This attempt failed but he had a major success in securing a three-year contract (with a minimum annual income) with dealer Hans Goltz, whose influential gallery gave Klee major exposure, and some commercial success. A retrospective of over 300 works in 1920 was also notable.
Klee was also a member of Die Blaue Vier (The Blue Four), with Kandinsky, Lyonel Feininger, and Alexej von Jawlensky; they lectured and exhibited together. Klee had his first exhibits in Paris, and he became a hit with the French Surrealists.
Klee’s works include "Inventionen" (Inventions), 'Secession'", Pessimistische Allegorie des Gebirges (Pessimistic Allegory of the Mountain), Jungfrau im Baum/Jungfrau (träumend) (Virgin on the tree/Virgin (dreaming)), Greiser Phoenix (Aged Phoenix) Jungfrau im Baum  Zwei Männer, einander in höherer Stellung vermutend (Two Men, Supposing the Other to be in a Higher Position), Gartenszene (Scene on a Garden),Porträt des Vaters (Portrait of a Father), In den Häusern von Saint-Germain (In the Houses of Saint-Germain) and Straßencafé (Streetcafé), Abstract and Farbige Kreise durch Farbbänder verbunden (Colored Circles Tied Through Inked Ribbons), n im Marc'schen Garten (Foehn at Marc's Garden), Trauerblumen (Velvetbells), Blumenmythos (Flower Myth),Camel (in rhythmic landscape with trees), betroffener Ort (Affected Place), Die Zwitscher-Maschine (The Twittering Machine), Ad Parnassum.
Klee's work has influenced music composers such as Roberto García Morillo, David Diamond, Gunther Schuller, Benet Casablancas, Giselher Klebe Ensemble Sortisatio, and Chuck Mangione.
Kostas Sfikas created a film based entirely on Paul Klee's paintings.
In 2018, a Google Doodle was created to celebrate his 139th birthday.

Paul Klee: Bauhaus Master
Comprehensive in scope and elegant in design, Paul Klee: Bauhaus Master is a landmark publication resulting from several years of work in collaboration with the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern, and based on a recent critical publication on Klee's "pedagogical legacy." The book contextualizes a selection of 137 works--including paintings, watercolors and drawings, made between 1899 and 1940--with nearly 100 handwritten notes selected from classes Klee gave at the Bauhaus, alongside an extensive array of archival objects and documents ranging from archival photographs to the artist's herbaria through to his reading, sketchbooks and publications. Demonstrating the unity of Klee's art and pedagogy--the unity of his hand and mind--Bauhaus Master presents an artist thinking with and through his materials and image-making practices, endlessly testing both.
Paul Klee (1879-1940) was born in Switzerland and studied at Munich's Academy of Fine Arts. Klee participated in several exhibitions between 1911 and 1913, but the breakthrough in his career was a 1914 trip to Tunis with August Macke and Louis Moillet, after which he painted his first abstract work. From 1919 he was represented by influential dealer Hans Goltz. Klee taught at the Bauhaus from 1921 to 1931; when the ascent of Nazism forced the closure of the Bauhaus, Klee emigrated to Switzerland. Although still working, he was in ill health until his death in 1940.
