In various notorious supply chains, especially in case of drugs and illegal substances cops used to have informants from these drugs cartels only. These traitors were called as Snitch. And once they are caught doing something in opposite of their own cartel, e.g. giving information to the authorities or other competitors in the market, there used to be a higher price to be paid. This system was good and worked effectively in cases of Drug Cartels but when it comes to Political Parties/Cartels/Cults it's completely different. You can simply leave all your pre-existing respect, all the morals, all the power and can join another cult for more benefits. Since decade it has been observed that as compared to the IT industry politics might be on number 2 where switching happens regularly. The motive is non the more powerful position and more importantly the money they comes with it. In India political parties were established my many great men and women, back in time they had some morality, they had some belonging and love towards their constituents. But now a days it has been all about the "number 2". Politicians who were in prisons a couple of years back now are MLAs. We have almost more than 30+ members of the central ministry who have charges like felony, extortion, murder, etc. and we expect them to take responsibility of our country.
