Hazel's Book Club

Hitting it off early with the first entry in this project, the halloween special! Showing off a few short stories with a halloween theme, because it is the time of year for it (and also because a lot of trans people vibe with the idea of dressing up as something or someone else, for whatever reason~)

First story is No Costume Required by MorningStarlight, a cute story about a halloween costume party, and a spell that makes costumes disappear (in a chaste way xP). Content warning for some use of the term s-ssy in a derogatory manner.

Second story of this lot is Another Halloween Story by BreadForBrunch, another halloween costume party story (you may notice a theme going on ;P) this time without any magic, unless you count the magic of friendship and love~ Anyways this one is about a "boy" crossdressing for a party enough to be unrecognisable. It's also longer, so I'm not going to scour it for content warnings but I remember it being rather safe, if a little tense at times.

Third up is The Witchual by @ravenkane, and it's, say it with me now, a story about a halloween costume party! A "boy" crossdresses but ends up at the wrong party, full of actual witches planning to make her feel comfortable :3 Content warning for puns, dysphoria, and light sexual references.

And finally, special mention to the Secret Trans Writing Lair's Autumn Anthologies. 2022 is freely available and highly recommended, and 2024 is available for only $6 to a group of amazing authors who you should definitely support (although I can't comment on this year's stories yet because I have yet to get around to reading them :<)
