Okay, I didn’t plan to get seriously involved in this fandom, but I just wanted to initially enjoy only the written work. Like a break from the information load from a familiar fandom, by reading something unfamiliar and random. But there is a small problem. Now I'm wondering what's really going on with the characters in the canon 😭

Do you happen to have any advice on where to start reading/watching this whole story with "batfam"? 👀

Jokes aside, I rarely read the comics (even though I totally want to), so I can't be of much help regardless of canon. However, I've been in the fandom for quite a couple of years already and I've noticed people tend to agree on something: DC stands for Disregard Canon, because apparently even the writers tend to ignore facts that've been laid out already.

Not to mention that with the amount of several Earths with different stories, 'canon' stuff will vastly vary from one universe to another.

With that being said, if you want to start learning more about the Batfam from official sources, I will recommend watching the following movies/tv shows Batman: Under the Red Hood (to learn about Jason's backstory)

Batman: The Killing Joke (to learn about Barbara's change from Batgirl to Oracle)

Batman: Year one (As the title mentions, the first year of Bruce being Batman)

Son of Batman (Bruce discovering he has a biological son)

Batman vs. Robin

Batman The Animated Series (this is more to learn about Batman's Rogues and how he came to adopt Dick and Tim/Jason [they gave Tim Jason's childhood for some reason], but as mentioned it's mostly focused on his rogues and not so much on the batfam.)

I will mention that mostly everything animated makes Bruce be kind of an asshole to his kids (except for BTAS), AND, they rarely add his kids if it's not Dick or Damian.

Now, on something completely focused on the batfam (and Bruce not being an ass), you can read "Batman: Wayne Family Adventures" on webtoon, which as the name mentions, it's the adventures of the batfam.

There are a lot more of shows and movies to learn more about Batman and the DC universe in general, so if you wish to learn more, I'm more than happy to recommend more stuff 👐

So I don't want to be that kind of person but I do have a baby face, although I feel it's mostly cuz I've never worn makeup and I rarely do it, which helps me make me look younger, anyway, in 23 but I've been mistaken for a minor, although never a specific age.

19. A fact about your personality

I'm quite comfortable with being silent, if I'm with someone and not talking it doesn't mean I'm angry or bothered, I just prefer to get lost inside my head.

30. What I hate the most about work

Right now it's the commute, I'm wasting around one to one and a half hours of my life just on the commute, however I like to see the bright side that I'm not working 10 hours a day like some friends, I only work 5, sometimes less.

39. My favourite ice cream flavour

I'm going to be basic, but I love vanilla!! Like most kids, I used to love chocolate, and cookies and cream flavours, but I've come to love the basics (also I shouldn't even be eating chocolate in the first place for health reasons...)

40. Who I wish I could be

Honestly? There's no one I wish I could be but myself, I know, kinda cringe buuuut, what I do wish is that I could be the version of me that does not give up when the slightest thing goes wrong, I wasted so much of my youth not focusing on my hobbies (writing, drawing) because I gave up at the slightest of errors.

44. A random fact about anything

Most people think comics were invented in the early 1900s, or even until the mid 1900s, however, they could literally be traced back to cave paintings. But comics as we know them today began taking form in the 1700s.

I know this because I did a research about comics :D (which got published!)

I also wanna thank @thatstheproblemwithnapkinman for their recomendations! i'd forgotten about Supersons, the movie has an interesting style that I liked. I read like one or two issues and I enjoyed it, so I'm looking into buying the Omnibus Super Duper Edition to finally read it all 👐

And if you ever draw anything from Flowerbeds, I'm begging to see it, that'd be so awesome 🥺🥺 If you have HBO (now called Max), a lot of the shows and movies are there, and if they're not dubbed, they'll most likely be with subs. After 7 years (almost 8) I spend time together again… Yes, we were on a joint mission, but…I…I just having fun?…I'm talking to someone about a game that I play very often and know a little about. I now quietly realize that, in principle, I could fit into this Gotham crowd, but I would be very scared at first. But not because of what is happening there, no. And because of the size of the city. Like, about 10 million people live there. This is 50 times more than the population of my city where I live. I would be horrified when I realized that this was all for real.

And yes, I decided to start re-reading your work with the “flower bed” in order to compose small drawings with independent insertion and possible verbal additions. Because for the most part, I'm more platonic than not with other people. (and I want to have fun with what I'm actually doing. Because my English skills are very poor, as is my knowledge of life in America in general, heh)

I wanted to write this in the chat questions, simply because I had a dream about Barbara today. She had a movie night with the girls and little gifts that reminded them of each other. And I accidentally ended up at her apartment, because my last bus had left, and walking alone through the city at night was dangerous. And I remember how embarrassed I was that I was interrupting their evening. But I would only have to travel by bus for about an hour. And I was ready to walk home if she didn’t allow me to stay the night, although we both understood that it would be even longer, especially at night. For some reason, in this dream I lived somewhere not far from Tim, and at some point it’s just awkward to joke that this can be considered a sudden acquaintance of neighbors. I left them some snacks and pretty bookmarks as they exchanged gifts. I remember that among the gifts there was an envelope with photographs of them together, a bracelet I woven myself and a book with an interesting cover.

Sorry if this is incoherent, it's just that it's already 1am and I can get distracted from one thought to another because of this.

And I'm like you in that aspect, I'm not going to lie and deny I love people gifting me stuff, but I feel so guilty of them spending their hard earned money on me, specially when I couldn't gift them something in return, even though I knew they weren't doing it to expect something back.

In some things I give reader a part of my personality (thinking the worst of every situation, feeling uncomfortable at using Cass' clothes for a long time even though Cass couldn't care less), and in others I give her what I would want to be like (extrovert, unafraid to speak her mind).

It might not make sense the "afraid to borrow Cass' clothes" and "loving getting a whole new wardrobe for free" at the same time but in reader's mind, she doesn't know how long she'll be there, and doesn't know when Cass will start to get bothered at lending her clothes (never), so for her the best option was to accept the new clothes, the idea of "Bruce loves to spend money on people" mindset stuck in her head from all the fanfics she's read (I definitely would be like that 😅), as well as knowing that she can't get them on her own, because she doesn't exist in that universe, so she can't get a job
