Recently, my hyperfixation children's shows have ended up making me cry because of a shared theme in at least one character of a character being dangerous, but it's later revealed that they're only dangerous because of the cycles of abuse and manipulation put on them by their so-called family and the systems they have been put into. Somehow, both characters have ended up destroying a whole city because of that manipulation (the cities got restored, but still, it isn't that small of a deal)
