DUDE turns out Dhar Mann is an evil avocado. Apparently, according to the Dhar Mann cast that we all know and love, he can't even pay them a decent salary. They're all speaking out about it, and encouraging everybody to boycott Dhar Mann.

The Dhar Mann actors are all banding together to get a meeting with Dhar Mann to discuss their salary. They're all apparently contract workers, and not actual employees. They have been unable to talk with the man himself. In their workplace, if anyone talks against Dhar, or says anything about wanting more money, they get fired.

with how much CGI they shove and cram on movies, will anyone ACTUALLY be paid even a 40 hour work week out of it even as a background character?

And if you kept your pulse on the Dhar Mann boycott by the actors you know the main complaint they had was that instead of being able to work in multiple project at once the studio would make them sign they wouldn't do any other work on the same week they would be called and be on call to work, only to work not even 8 hours, in some cases.

So is more than possible you are just gonna sit around doing fuck all for the month, work only a couple days, get maybe enough for the months expenses, when in reality you should have actually earned a much better pay.

The fact that they're advertising it as hourly pay is so telling that they're hoping to just hire random people off the street. They're trying to prey on desperate actors who don't know that $180/hr for a fucking GODZILLA movie is the hugest rip off anyone could possibly pull. No rights, royalties or residuals but hey at least you'll get paid fucking nothing!
