CANCER:

Cancer is such a staggering epidemic, the sheer number of people affected by the disease is heart-breaking. Cancer is killing over 11 million people per year, approximately 30,000 people die every day from cancer. It is MASS GENOCIDE!

We won’t go into the numerous causes of the cancer epidemic, but we will provide some help in the meantime:

DRY FAST - from three to four days, this will kick start your body into the cleansing and self-healing process.

Stop feeding the cancer - no refined sugars. Supermarket pre-packed foods, tinned foods and fast foods are usually full of preservatives and refined sugars, cancer loves these.

Eat and drink real food - natural and organic. Fresh fruits and vegetables from farms that do not use chemicals. Limit your meat intake, include fresh fish in your diet. Avoid manufactured or processed meats.

but realistically, to me, that first scene was more of the last loose end ricky had left before he could finally be ready to let go of his childhood

same could be argued for nini, honestly— with the full context, i didn’t necessarily interpret that “longing” look she gave ricky while he performed kristoff lullaby as her still having feelings for him. it was a callback to season 1, it was nostalgic for her. she’s in the middle of making a life changing decision and she’s looking back at all the things/events that made her love east high and that got her to where she is now.

also it was a way to show that ricky’s feelings for gina are real and that he’s moved on from nini. he was thinking about gina when singing kristoff lullaby while being fully aware that nini was in the audience. this was him “choosing” gina

rini represent each other’s childhood and nostalgia hit them for a moment upon hearing about/seeing the other, yes, but that doesn’t mean they’re still in love with each other.

it’s also obvious that these scenes were showed because they wanted rina to start off their relationship with closure on past relationships, unlike portwell and rini

Alright so its time to hyperfixate even more on Omori by giving my rankings for a few characters, specifically the main cast in both Faraway and Headspace, and a few of the side characters, so without further ado...

Sunny: Emo and very adorable. Lots of headcanons for him after the PGE ranging from keeping him his usual shy self to making him very sociable and talkative. 80/10

Omori: Garbage Boy Stink Man but we still love this little gremlin. 9/10

Kel: Buries all of his trauma deep down, all to help his friends. False smiles at any sadness. Honestly written really well. 150/10

Headspace Kel: Kel but annoying and no sadness. 20/10

Aubrey: BEST. GIRL. Has the best writing, the best music, the best headcanons, the best sprites, and BY FAR the best character arc. Is also extremely relatable. 200/10

Headspace Aubrey: Aubrey but much more upbeat and also clingy. Veeeeeeeery clingy (Touch Starved Aubrey my beloved). 25/10

Hero: Best brother figure in gaming and I will not take Mario as a rebuttal. Plus, he's literally the perfect man (other than my boyfriend, but I digress). 100/10

Headspace Hero: Kinda boring ngl. Still the most useful for battles though. 20/10

Basil: Adorable. Must protecc at all costs. Also, when he's written well, he has some of the best moments in the game. 175/10

NV Companions react to the BOS Bunker going up in flames?

TW: Blood, massacre

It wasn't the first time they had visited the bunker often shrouded in sandstorms in Hidden Valley, but it was the first time they had paused at the entrance and the courier had asked their companion to keep watch outside. Of course their companion was glad to do so, even if they were a little curious, and they waited patiently while the courier descended into the Brotherhood of Steel's Mojave sanctum to conduct their business.

A mysterious, low-pitched noise began to emanate from somewhere underground while the courier was gone. When the Mojave's most-wanted player finally flung open the mechanical door that led to the outside, they grabbed their companion and pulled them across the fenced-in sand that surrounded the bunker's entrance. "Down!" they ordered, taking cover behind some weather-beaten rocks.

Smoke poured from the door they had exited, but it was only when the sand began to stir, each grain vibrating as blasts of energy wracked the buried structure, that the courier's companion realized what the sound had been.

Arcade Gannon: As soon as the earth stilled, Arcade rose from behind the rocks and approached the door. It still hung ajar, but the smoke had all but dissipated. Whether the bunker was burning didn't matter, the researcher supposed. The courier had buried it, and everyone inside it.

"I didn't think you'd really do it," he said, looking around somewhat helplessly.

"I wasn't sure I could." The courier joined him to stare at the door. "But I couldn't stop thinking about... well, everything. Veronica. You, your family. Other stuff."

"Sure." Arcade nodded grimly. "The remnants are a little safer, now. But I don't feel any better."

The courier hung their head. "Yeah. Me neither."

Craig Boone: Boone leaned back against the rocks that had sheltered them from the blast and looked over at the courier. Their fingernails were bitten down to the nub. "So that's it, then," he said.

"Yeah." The courier let out a huge breath and collapsed next to him, digging the heels of their boots into the sand. "Hope the NCR appreciates it."

Boone nodded. "Next time, don't leave me outside. I'm guessing they didn't take it too well, when the alarm started going off."

"They didn't, but I kept out of sight." The courier's head fell back against the stone. "'The last thing you never see,' indeed."

"How do you feel?"

The courier sat up and looked at Boone like he'd sprouted a second head. "How do I feel? You have never asked me that before."

Boone grimaced. "Then forget it."

Lily Bowen: Lily sniffed the air. "Did someone down there leave the stove on, dearie?"

"Something like that," the courier answered breathlessly. They peeked over the rocks at the door they had just come flying through. "I think we're safe, now."

Lily stood and helped them up with a gentle tug that still brought them upright faster than she'd intended. "All finished down below? Grandma's getting hungry, and there are radscorpions about today."

The courier patted their stomach. "Funnily enough, I'm hungry too. You'd think I'd lose my appetite after... well, anyway. Should we hit the road?"

Lily smiled. "Lead the way, pumpkin. You're so good at finding it."

Raul Alfonso Tejada: Raul poked his head up from behind the rocks as soon as he was sure no power-armored figures were about to come rushing at him. "Well, boss, you know I'm no fan of los chicos de acero, but I'd say you might have made the wrong choice today," he said.

"How do you figure?" the courier asked, shaking sand out of their coat.

Raul shrugged. "Take it from a ghoul who's done this once or twice. You make a name for yourself, you become a target. You hit your enemy with a spectacular display like this one, he won't forget it. I'd say you've made the Brotherhood's shit list today. Permanentemente."

The courier gave him a skeptical look. "Creo que puedo manejarlo, Raul. Just ask the guys downstairs."

Rose of Sharon Cassidy: "Oh, shit." Cass' face had gone white. "Six, what the hell were you thinking?!? You just put a target on our backs wider than Hoover Dam itself!"

"What, a few guys in power armor have you spooked?" The courier looked over at her quizzically. "Never known you to care much for the Brotherhood, Cass."

"I don't care about them, but I know well enough not to tangle with them." Cass pulled the courier up from their cover and dragged them toward the nearest hole in the fence. "We need to get out of here. Chances are some patrol was out and about and got alerted as soon as you set their alarm off. They'll be hightailing it back here, and we need to be long gone by the time they arrive."

"Relax," the courier protested, tugging their arm out of her grip. "Unlike you, I plan things out. I hit them right when they were switching patrols over and hadn't sent the next one out yet."

Cass did relax, but only an inch. "Don't you do a damn fool thing like that ever again without consulting me first, Six."

Veronica Santangelo: Veronica didn't listen to the courier, though. She ran for the door they had left, cursed the way the soft ground swallowed her footsteps and held her back from her full speed, pleaded with time itself to slow. Someone, anyone-

The final blast knocked her over, and she fell in a whirl of tears and sand. By the time she got up again, the world had stilled and the chapter she had fought for had been buried.

The courier tried to pull her away from the rubble that had collapsed in front of the entrance, but it was no use. She dug at the rocks until her fingers bled, muttering through her sobs, calling out the names of the people she'd known and loved. They were still down there, she could hear them, she could rescue them if she could just shift-

"Veronica!" The courier grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to face them. "They're gone. It's over."

"I did this," Veronica answered, feebly trying to free herself from their grasp. "This was my fault."

All the courier could do was look at her, bewildered, but in the end, the Scribe was right. After all, it had been she who had hailed the courier at the trading post, befriended them and brought them home to meet her family.

ED-E: The courier had to snag ED-E out of the air before the final blast, and they only released the eyebot again when they were sure the dust had settled. ED-E beeped and shook some sand off before floating over to inspect the bunker again. It scanned the entrance once, twice, a few more times before zipping back over to the courier and offering up a reassuring blip.

The courier sighed. "Thanks, ED-E. I think I need to sit here for a bit, anyway. That kind of order... it takes a lot out of you."

Rex: Rex snuggled into the courier's lap behind the rocks, checking them over and licking their face. There was ash from energy weapons in between the tears that were streaming down their cheeks.

"It's okay, boy," they said, pulling the cyberdog in close to pet his fur and steel hesitantly. "I'm okay. I mean, I'm not hurt. But all those people..."

Their gaze hardened. "I'm gonna kill House."

Recruitment

The doors of the great Cathedral of Laelith were polished bronze. They must have been twelve feet tall and half a foot thick. Harald walked me up to the door and firmly grasped a long vertical handle. He threw his entire weight into pulling the door, and slowly it edged open. I couldn’t see anything within until I stepped through the threshold. My eyes needed a few seconds to adjust to the dim environment. 

We were in a small chapel. There were two doors on the far side that were closed. Small pews lined the pathway up to a small pulpit where an elderly woman stood looking over a ledger. We approached in complete silence. We waited for her to acknowledged us, but it never came. We exchanged glances, and Harald cleared his throat. Still no response. Harald let forth an annoyed groan and slammed his hand on the front of the pulpit. Then, as if time slowed to a crawl she peered up. First her eyes, then her head. She squinted at us both and then looked back at her ledger, nearly pressing her face to it. “Knight Harald Lemoy and Kuldick Stonehard?”

My brow furrowed, “Kulrick Sto-”

“Yes, yes, here for the recruitment ceremony.” Harald barked as he was already making his way to the door.

“You’re free to enter.”

By the time she finished her sentence we were already in the Cathedral, and what a sight it was. Everything was awash in a menagerie of colors from blues to crimson and bright golds, thanks to the multiple stained glass windows on the sides of the building. At the far end of the row of larger pews sat a plain looking stone altar. Two seats sat in front of it, each with an important looking man in them. 

“Sir Lemoy.” said the man on the right. “About time you joined us. Please, bring your recruit to the front, and then sit with the other knights on the side.”

He was a grey haired man in shining blue armor. His pauldrons were flecked with gold, and he rested his hand on a great hammer. It must have been four feet tall. He spoke calmly, but his voice seemed to boom with power. Harald bowed his head and walked down the aisle with me in tow. At the front of the aisle he bowed low and gestured for me to do the same. Afterwards, one hand thrust towards a pew with five other people already there. I sat next to another dwarf, but there was also a half-orc, elf, and two humans. 

“Mingle among yourselves, we will start in a couple minutes. Then, the two leading men retreated into a back room behind the altar. I looked over at the other dwarf. He looked older than I, the wrinkles on his face seemed kind. “I’m Kulric. You’re not from Felbarr are you?”

He seemed smaller and darker than most dwarves Kulric came in contact with. “Nah, from one of the hill clans in the north. Been to the Citadel before though. Amazing place with amazing people.” He smiled. “I’m Bowen. Bowen Omursonn. Pleasure is mine. What got you into this scene?”

Kulric looked around the end of the Cathedral. “I was always fascinated by all this. Read a lot about the order. When they came to the Citadel to find new recruits I was one of the first in line. You?”

“About the same, except I didn’t read nothin’. They swing weapons and do good stuff, and that’s my type of deal.”

I nodded, but before he could start the two leaders came back out. “If you do not know who I am,” boomed the one who had done all the talking, “I am High Paladin Rowan. I run the Order of the Gauntlet and the knights who call it home. If you succeed in the tasks set before you, you may be in my sevice as well. With me today is Avacyn. He has graciously let us use his city of Laelith for our Order for over a thousand years.”

The other figure was lean muscled and draped in heavy garments. He wore a hood that concealed his face, but he bowed his head all the same. “I hope your stay has been pleasurable. Many of you traveled far and wide to train with Rowan. I do hope you all succeed. Of course, some of you won’t. You know, try your best.”

His voice was soothing, but you could tell his voice could boom at any given moment. “Now,” Rowan picked back up, “We will start simply and quickly. I shall give you your first test. It is not physical, nor is it mental. The only thing you must do is open connections with a higher benevolent power. Pray, meditate, put yourself into a trance, whatever you must do to come into contact. Once in contact, you will plead with your deity to tell you something secret about us. Something not in the public sphere. Once I know you have contacted them, you will have taken your first step to becoming one with our Order. Questions?”

Nobody said a word. Anyone could tell that we were all sweating. I had never heard voices from above, but I hoped that some miracle would happen. Rowan nodded and sat back down, “You have fifteen minutes. Begin.”

One human leaned forward so that his head was between his knees, the other human leaned his head upwards towards the sky and closed his eyes. The half orc placed his hands on his knees and simply seemed to meditate while Bowen placed one hand over his heart. I just clasped my hands together and closed my eyes. For many minutes, nothing happened. Nothing occurred. After a couple minutes I felt a warm presence around me, but still nothing spoke to me. All hope seemed lost as I heard Rowan rise from his seat and whisper to the first human at the far end of the row. 

One by one they whispered their secret to him. He never responded. Finally, he stood over me. “Stoneheart, speak your truth.”

With no avail, I opened my eyes, unable to look up at him. However, something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. dear nonnie, i am gonna be boring and give the reply i always give to this question: anyone from the Night’s Watch would make me the happiest. with this said, however, there have been a few new roleplayers sprouting, which makes me feel very blessed. even so, there is never enough roleplayers of Alliser Thorne, Samwell Tarly, Dolorous Edd Tollett, maester Aemon, Grenn and Pyp, Donal Noye, Jeor Mormont, etc. 

on a more general view, i would love to see more of the Sand Snakes! and of Stannis Baratheon, and Shireen, and never have i seen a Selyse and i would love to. also, i never saw an Osha or a Gilly!! and, considering i love Cersei and i follow some really fantastic ones, i’d love to see them interact with a Taena Merryweather. also, there is not enough Hot Pie. THERE IS NOT ENOUGH BRAN STARK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. and Alys Karstark. and any Umbers or more Karstarks or Glovers or Manderlys.
