I've got thoughts

Vast!!! With corviknight!! Consider giving her a shiny sableye(that can be mega evolved) because ✨emerald✨ And maybe there's a ghost type or two that follow him around… Maybe.. y'know

Gizmo as Runes partner pokemon (dog pokemon of some variety maybe? A growlithe or arcanine? Or maybe something entirely different, not sure yet) I dunno why but I also just really want them to have a Sylveon, I'm just saying it would be so neat

Sylph has a rotom bc speedy lil guy, potentially a varoom as well? Honestly there are probably a lot of funky ones that would match up with their chaotic energy

Marcel with a togepi and maybe exeggcute? Probably mostly has bird pokemon though

Taliesin with some psychic types (something from the abra line, espeon, etc.) or potentially some funky fairy types?

Ashril has a flock of pidoves /silly

Cosie having some baby pokemon? Something in the happiny line maybe? Pokemon with associations to healing

Armour can have a salamance as a little treat :)

Some musically inclined mons for Mojave, let them have a little traveling pokemon band it would be really cute

Gaverin has a glameow. And debutante form furfrou. You cannot convince me that they wouldn't

I can't not have Pietro with a noctowl- I mean c'mon, it's right there-

Virgil, Ava, and Erin I'm not sure about yet, but there are so many pokemon for me to go through I'll figure something out

And I since I don't know much about Elwood yet, I'll probably be pondering on this one for a while too

Before we get into all the silly goofy times, here's a little introduction!

This is a Vast Cadere rp blog, specifically based on my bound smp pokemon au so things are gonna be a bit funky!

With that in mind, if you aren't familiar with pokemon that's ok! I'll likely be doing a bunch of info dumping periodically and will always be open to questions. I'll likely also reblog the posts I've made about this au on my main so that they're here as well.

Any and all interactions are welcome, just don't be weird about it. No canon here, this is entirely for fun!

Vast hadn't had much time to check their communicator recently. At least, not enough to bother keeping tabs on the weird app that had appeared. Though perhaps it was about time she changed that.

It's not as though he had much else to worry about at the moment. Things have been... calm enough. Jade was safe with Rune and everyone she'd spoken to recently seemed to be doing alright. Nothing too unusual has been reported, at least nothing that wasn't already being looked into, so there was plenty of time to spare.

So, settling onto the branch they'd perched on, she clicked into the app and began to observe.

It doesn't seem like whatever this is will blow up in my face, so...

Talons lightly hit the screen of the handheld device as Vast checked back through her most recent message logs. Nothing new. Nothing to see. Despite knowing there wouldn't be anything from Rune just yet, not while he was absorbed in his work at least. It's fine, she could be patient.

Apparently a little hatchling on the other hand, cannot.

"Jade..." Vast reached up to gently scratch the rookidee atop her head. "They'll be done soon enough, just give it time. "

Turning his attention back to the device in hand Vast paused. That... That's not what the screen was just on. Honestly she has no idea what this strange app is considering it's definitely not one they already had.

Guess there's only one way to figure this out.

The issue with having a life-long pokemon hyperfixation, and current fixation on bound smp, is that my brain has latched onto the idea of a bound pokemon au...

I've just got thoughts rattling around in my brain and some of them are just so incredibly silly that I have to draw them-

Specifically Ash with a flock of pidoves lmao

Me remembering about the pokemon rangers games and wondering how I can add it to the bound pokemon au-

Like.. maybe the Avicane and Vercane(I think that's how you spell it?) were different branches of pokemon rangers and the Avicane were just really corrupt from the beginning and using the pokemon as fuel for the Obelisks; funky machines spread out and around a bunch different of locations and biomes to keep the ecosystems stabilized

Though this idea would mess with the logistics of certain characters having set pokemon teams as Pokemon rangers don't really do the whole owning pokemon thing-

I guess it could be like the pokemon just willing stick with their 'trainers' despite the fact they could just up and leave at any point if they wanted

Or they no longer use the rangers equipment(for some reason or another; maybe it broke or it was lost, who knows) and instead have become more like regular trainers in the use of pokeballs

I dunno, I really should go back and replay the pokemon ranger games to get more ideas

There haven't been any changes since my last update, at least none that myself or any of the others have noticed.

Though I guess I've been a bit... Preoccupied? A little distracted? I've been spending more time with Rune, I think we both needed a bit of a break from everything and it's been... Nice. Really nice.

But it's probably about time I patrol the surrounding areas again. Make sure things really haven't escalated any further yet.

I've been trying to keep an eye on things here, but between helping Rune and working on things with some others I haven't really had much of a chance.

Things have been getting... weirder? More and more pokemon are starting to act different and cause problems. We've got a group looking into it, but...

I thought it was only the wild ones being effected. It was. At first, at least.

But something happened with one of Virgil's.

If it's starting to effect tamed pokemon... We really need to figure this out.

Going to finally try and figure out what pokemon to potentially give Virgil and Elwood in this au because I have put it off long enough

No idea how long it'll take, considering there are over 1000 pokemon to comb through but uhhh

It'll happen-
