Chiropractor - A Suitable Pain Relief Therapy Expert for Neck Pain
The neck is an integral part of the human body and is prone to a lot of movement throughout the day and night. As such, any sprain or pain can make life immensely uncomfortable. Such neck pain in Lafayette CO also impedes regular body movement. This problem may limit the range of work you can do in daily life. If you suffer from this issue, then you ought to visit a chiropractor.
Why a chiropractor is ideal for relief from neck pain?
A chiropractor plays a crucial role in providing neck pain relief through various treatment methods. Let us look at some ways in which a chiropractor can assist.
1) Correct Diagnosis
A chiropractor will begin by conducting a comprehensive assessment to understand the root cause of your neck pain. They will review your medical history and scrutinize your specific case. They may also order diagnostic tests if necessary. This helps the upper cervical chiropractor in Superior CO identify the underlying issues. As a result, the expert gets to develop an effective treatment plan.
2) Manual Adjustments
Chiropractors are known for applying controlled force to the joints in the neck. Such targeted action goes a long way in improving alignment and mobility. You feel immense relief when they realign the spine. You can alleviate pressure on the nerves with this action. It also reduces inflammation and relieves tension in the neck muscles.
3) Soft Tissue Therapy
In addition to spinal adjustments, the upper cervical chiropractor in Superior CO often incorporates soft tissue therapy to alleviate neck pain. This may involve techniques such as massage. These therapies target tight muscles and knots in the neck area. This helps to release tension and enhance flexibility.
Such targeted action by the expert chiropractor helps in tangible relief from neck pain in Lafayette CO.

I raise (shove?) the Shove Anon further (SMITE) by saying the next game should have the ability to shove enemies too, not just allies. The ability to alter placement and movement should be a bigger factor in at least one entry, because there's a lot of potential.
Shoving enemies/objects as an offensive tactic. Shoving them against other enemies and objects/walls should give some form of damage, especially for brawling-type units (shapeshifters, brawlers, martial artists, etc.). I mean, getting hit by a 200+ lb projectile is going to do something. Critical hits should be possible too, like being shoved at just the right place to really hurt them by impact, or at least leave someone prone (unable to act) for the round.
Shoving objects to affect the terrain. Smite a tree and build a makeshift bridge. Shove a boulder to send it careening down the hill like in Tellius, or even have object puzzles like a really strong unit shoving a platform below while your unit on the platform is dashing around a maze above them.
Fall Damage should occur if the target is shoved off a ledge, possible death by shoving off a cliff. Death by a critical hit on fall damage would be quite the way to go though.
Healing via Chiropractic. Have a brawler-esque job class who pulls a Fist of the North Star by having their personal skill be a healing effect on the allies they shove, like FEH's Nudge staff.
Just some ideas. Thanks for coming to my TED talk!

October 2 2023 Douro Valley
This morning after breakfast I took a hike by myself and met up with some Americans and their guide, a local woman. We walked together, chatted, and enjoyed the glorious views.
The guide, whose name is Nadine, told us stories from her childhood and how she used to wake up at 4am in the summer to go out and work in the fields before it became too hot. She was only SEVEN years old at the time!
Nadine explained to us about the tiles in this grotto which are only one of the things Portugal is famous for. Tiles are a huge part of Portuguese history and the two are really are inseparable. Portuguese tiles come in many forms and are made of ceramic and are painted and glazed to withstand weather and wear. However, these are not just simple tiles, they are a huge part of Portuguese culture and tradition. The technical aspect around the production of tiles is very specific and its main characteristic is the longevity it offers to the final product, which is why almost every building in Portugal is decorated with tiles. And some date back centuries!
I liked Nadine very much and I was thankful for all the time she spent with us sharing her wisdom and experiences.
The resort is so big I got lost trying to find my way back to our room, but I got to see a lot of lovely rooms and terraces along the way.
Today was a day of rest so we women took advantage of the spa facilities and had treatments. I had a mani/pedi that was SO relaxing!
This afternoon I spent some time posting photos on social media of my dear friend, Diane Witt, who was a member of the women's support covenant group I belong to at my church, the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship. I've known her for many years and she was a close friend so it was a shock when I learned at the end of September that she had died of a heart attack while at a checkup for her heart.
It turned out that Jim knew her, too, when she was a patient of his chiropractic practice, so he was also sad and we spent some time reminiscing about her. Everyone loved Diane very much, because she was such a kind, caring, helpful person. She was an elementary school teacher, a mother of three children, and a grandmother of four. Her smile would light up a room and she'll be missed by many. I'm sad that I won't be able to attend her memorial service in person but I hope to be there on ZOOM later this month.
Diane had a lovely voice and she sang in the BVUUF choir for many years.
Diane was also an activist , like me, and we worked often on social justice issues and attended rallies and protests together. We had a lot in common besides our names and I'll always remember what a sweet person she was.
Our "Mothers Acting Up UU Inspired" (MAUUUI) covenant group was started fifteen years ago by Kelye and Camille, in the back in this photo of us celebrating the winter holidays together. I was one of the first people in the group, as were Diane and Lu, and others joined us throughout the years, but many left along the way. The five of us were the core group and the dearest of friends. We supported each other through many changes, challenges, and losses in our lives, as well as joys and celebrations. The Unitarian Universalist covenant groups all over the world use one curriculum with a different theme each month, which we study together to assist us in our spiritual search for meaning in our lives. Our friendship with her was almost a sisterly relationship and we have all been fortunate to have known her, so we are deeply saddened by her death, especially at such a young age.

For the majority of my time as an adult, everytime the prospect of hiking or engaging in any physical activity arose, my instant reaction was retreat. I'd imagine myself exasperated, struggling, and embarrassed by my weakness. I shied away from so many adventures and activities for fear of discovering the limits of my body's ability. As a result, those abilities stagnated and I found myself trapped in my mind. In turn, my mind was a tumultuous sea of thought and emotion, and there I was being thrashed amongst the waves.
I've known for a long time that movement was the antidote to my depression. I knew this logically, but the parts of my brain which ran in autopilot were stronger than my executive, consciously functioning mind.
It would take a battle with my body image triggered by my experience in Peace corps, and then a car accident which required me to seek chiropractic care for almost a year, and then finally receiving physical therapy once I acquired insurance, before I reached a point where enough was enough. At it's worst, I found myself unable to even enjoy being at shows because within 1-2 hours my lower back would be on fire just from standing.
Physical therapy changed my life. Having good health insurance was a huge enabler for me to get on the road to recovery.
PT got my curious about how strength could improve my conscious living experience; mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The moment I tried bouldering I knew it would be my path toward the person I wanted to become. Over a year later, I can hardly recognize myself from the person I was before.
My back doesn't hurt. The only pain I feel most of the time is soreness. I'm in the gym 3-4 times a week and already have 3 hikes in and the season has barely begun. I have plans to go backpacking for the first time ever, and now I'm getting into rope climbing. Riding my bike long distances is an exciting, rather than intimidating, prospect. A few years ago I began working toward reconnecting with my body and myself. Today I feel at home in this vessel, and so excited to keep building on this foundation.
The best thing I did for myself in this all was choosing to work toward loving myself *before* i arrived at the version of myself I wanted to be. Love is so much more than just enabling a person to be who they are already. Love is about embracing who the person is now, while supporting them in their growth toward their fullest potential. Do that for yourself, instead of seeking someone else to do it for you. Have faith that this universe is conspiring in your favor, and the pieces will fall together exactly as they are meant to.

June 2 2023 Boulder
I went to Ginger, my chiropractor, today and her office for Swan Lake Chiropractic is located on Pearl Street west of the mall. I parked near Lolita's Market and I was captivated by the murals on the side wall of the market.
They were tributes to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) women and their hard work over the centuries to help build a multiracial democracy free of gender bias where they and everyone else have the same inalienable rights that were promised in the Constitution of the United States.
Because the "I" of BIPOC refers to Indigenous Peoples of the United States and everywhere in the world, some of the paintings on the murals spoke about the horrendous treatment of Native Americans by white settlers and the United States Government. I hope this fellow didn't mind being in the photo I took. He was chilling out, reading a newspaper and having his coffee.
Latina women have been very involved in the fight for equality and many were leaders in the women's suffrage movement.
