Tbh considering the whole eternal reincarnation cycle thing, it wouldn’t surprise me if Link did fall for Zelda at first sight Pre-Calamity? Something like his soul recognizing hers right away? Because of the whole “Hero chosen by the Goddess” thing? Idk it’d make sense to me 🤔

P.S.: Ignore this idea if it sounds overwhelming but… have you ever considered making something like a comic filling in the blanks about how you think Zelink happened in their BOTW/TOTK incarnation? I think it’d look really cool in your style (and I’m curious about how you imagine it happening tbh, especially the confession part lol though I kinda get an idea based on your fanarts)

I shared a page WIP a couple of weeks ago. This was an excerpt of "The Message", my Post-BotW fan comic focusing on a major Zelink relationship milestone. Its all written, can be read from start to finish but i am still in the process of cleaning the art. This comic is 15 pages long and its gonna kill me lol It will be available hopefully by the end of the summer because I have so many professional projects going on at the same time...plus life, obviously. Just so you know I'm not answering you generic bullshit, here is some visibility on my PC's folder 😅:

Maybe this is not a good idea to reveal how obsessed and insane I actually am cuz.... i have rough pages and thumbnails for a bunch of scenes... I also have fan cutscenes storyboards that i could turn into animatics, i just need to kick my ass and subscribe to after effect for a month lol😅 Oh yeah, and this is just about the BotW/TotK era...cuz i got an OoT folder....... GDJS looking at all these incomplete PSDs are driving me nuts. I wish i could just draw Zelda stuff full time haha

YIPPEE ok most recent WIP uhhhhh so technically the sketches i was doing of my oc, sol, are most recent because i did them and passed out immediately after

however the most recent REAL wip was when i finished shading for one of the sections i'm doing for that hornet animatic!!

and 19!!! there are sooooo many characters over so many things...i like drawing Hornet sentinel protecter daughterofhallownest hollowknightsilksong very much ofc but basically any character from hollow knight because they are soo shaped and fun to draw!!

as for other media, i like drawing my own oc sol a lot because i've been having severe brainrot about them for Some Time now, and i like drawing basically any dragons from any Media i have Consumed...back in the day i enjoyed drawing zhongli n hu tao from genshin impact, and also mipha from botw!

Ooh ooh for the wip ask game “Animatic-a girl worth fighting for” please

In all honesty everything else has been on the backburner as I work on zelinktines and loftwing letters stuff but I thought it would be fun to do an animatic but it's not really any further along than the idea of the song so here's a little something about it.

In my head it's botw pre-calamity (really the aesthetic of aoc but I'm hesitant to outright say that when I haven't played the game) and my idea for matching up relevant characters are Link is Mulan, Daruk (or maybe Yunobo, idk) is Chien Po, Teba is Yao, and Revali is the secretary guy. There's a reason behind every casting, but I don't feel like typing it all out.

So I watched Encanto a few days ago when it came out on Disney+, and the Dos Oruguitas sequence was so Zelink it drove me completely insane, so much that I freaking taught myself to make a whole-ass animatic in 4 days. This is only a rough timing test, with the crudest "artwork" I could get away with, but hopefully you get the idea.

(Yes, it's just rehashing the entirety of BotW (and the sequence in the movie). No originality in my head.)

I would like to say that, with so much of the work done at this point, I'll be able to draw out a polished version of this with proper art, but uhhh I'm not good about following through on big projects ._. At the least, I got the idea out. We'll see about the rest...
